10 of us visited Chimichangos, we’ve all been before many times and as always it was fabulous.
The service was excellent, the 2 young girls serving were really attentive, we’d barely sat down and they were taking drinks orders and they made sure we never waited for anything.
The restaurant was buzzing, it’s great to see places busy these days, the atmosphere was lovely and it looked like everyone was having a great time. The decor is spot on, it feels like being in Mexico even on a cold winter’s night.
On to the food. I don’t know how the chef does it but the food is unmatched in the area, the flavours are literally incredible. We were given a sampler of a Taquito which is a new starter on the menu and they were mega, full of flavour, like the rest of the food. We had a selection of Burritos, Quesadillas, Fajitas, most of the variations on main courses and everyone was blown away.
There aren’t many restaurants where I’d like a 6th star to mark it as just that bit better than everywhere else, but this is definitely one of those places.
I can’t recommend this place anymore and I can’t wait to visit again.

Had a brilliant meal as always. Easy to book. Great atmosphere staff first class good service reasonable prices. Nachos my favourite followed burrito and a few beers. I promise you that you will not be disappointed. Give it a go and enjoy the Mexican experience.

The food was really good, it’s only a set list as the chef is on holiday. The atmosphere is great but the service was poor. It took over 30 minutes to get our main food, and a further 20 minutes to get our second drinks. The waitresses apologised a few times.

Really good portion sizes and really nice attentive staff. Food was nice and tasty. The chairs are slightly uncomfy but our meal was really nice and made up for it, and I would go back!

Astounding food, service, atmosphere, this is the best place we have eaten at in years.
We ummed and ahhd over this for ages and eventually booked in, it was so fantastically themed and Mexican music at just the right level. Lots of Mexican hats to wear on the chairs, which of course we did (why wouldn’t you).
So much to look at…. we ordered Nachos to share and it was a feast of Nachos…. so much so we asked to take our main course as a takeaway as we were pretty full. No concerns and they packaged it up and it came out whilst we enjoyed a Corona !!

Quite simply the best Mexican food I’ve had. Period. Even the starter nachos were incredible! Definitely get the nachos to start!
Enchilada with bbq pork was oozing with flavours, great tasting meat, cheesy… Delicious! Well worth the hour drive to get here!

This is a lovely little place. The atmosphere feels authentically Mexico with the decor and the music. The food we had was amazing better than many other Mexican food restaurants we have been. Staff where also friendly and quick service loved everything we had.

Where to start. The food was good, we enjoyed that. The service was appalling, took us 45 minutes to even get drinks, two tables that came in after us got served with drinks and food before us. When we eventually got to us we had no cutlery they said they would bring it to us when we sat down. The starters and mains came out separately so had no option but to eat it separately, the drinks was was wrong on a couple of occasions either the wrong drink came or not enough, then we where told while finishing off the mains we had 15 minutes to leave as they had another booking arriving, then the asked if we wanted pudding? I appreciate it was busy but this was another level. We won’t be going again unfortunately sorry to say

Food was very nice, slightly pricey but worth it. However when I bit into and swallowed a chicken wing that was previously frozen to my assumption, I was shocked to see it was RAW. We not talking about birra veins i mean clear flesh. The 7 witnesses I was sat with weren’t pleased to say the least. The waiter offered me a free drink and then 5 minutes later offered the rest of my party a free drink each. How nice. They also saved their own backs by ‘taking the wings off the bill’ thus taking them off the receipt. Very clever. I made a post on a small private social media story sharing my experience with a brief comment and warning to those ordering chicken from ANY restaurant. 2 weeks later the person who booked the table got a friendly message from them as attached. Such a shame I had to take it here but I now have no choice. To be noted, I did not fall ill from the chicken or at least wasn’t hospitalised and i refrained from contacted environmental hazard organisations because people have livelihoods. However their passive aggressive message to my friend over a private photo that had been sneakily taken has changed my mind. Such a shame. Many Thanks x

Tony and the staff work extremely hard and I was impressed at how efficient they are with clearing plates, serving food and making sure that everything is okay.
The whole place had a very warm and friendly atmosphere and the portion sizes were perfect. It’s definitely somewhere you should consider going to.
