Ordered a veg korai and some sides between 2 of us, all were fantastic. I’d previously ordered takeaway from here and wasn’t that impressed, but I’m pleased I came back and gave The Clove another go. Staff helpful, quick service. Lovely stuff!

Have been coming to the clove since it first opened.

This used to be my favourite Indian takeaway and would recommend to everyone, having spent many birthday dinners here over the years and was amazing.

however over the last few visits the service and quality of food has dropped massively, the first few times I just put it down to them being busy, but after another few visits and takeaways the quality of the food has gotten worse.

I visited tonight for a takeaway as one last try as I have seen they have renovated and wondered if this might of had some improvement, but no the food was bland and pretty much in inedible the chicken in the curry was so tough even the dog refused it.

very disappointed as this was my go to for years, will now have to find another local Indian restaurant.

This is the best Indian food I have had since moving from Birmingham to the South West 10 years ago. If you know anything about the importance of Indian cuisine in Brum then you’ll know this is a strong statement I’ve just made. The pilau was fragrant and fresh and the Shashlik Bhuna I ordered was delicious. Staff were friendly and the prices were completely fair. I ordered takeaway after an impromptu walk around North St so I didn’t see the restaurant, but I will be back to dine in. After mostly avoiding Indian restaurants in Bristol for almost a decade I am overjoyed to have found The Clove. Thank you!

Went there on 2/6/25, the food is amazing. Best chicken Dhansak in my life, unbeliebable! The pilau rice was great, with cloves and cardamom. The peshwaari naan was perfect.

My wife also said her Korma was unbeliebable too.

The waiter was really friendly and even accommodated our request to turn off the air conditioning.

Will definitely come again.

We had a lovely meal here – including being the first person to try the Thali on their new menu which was delicious! Would recommend a trip – well priced and yummy

I have enjoyed their takeaways for ages and so I decided to take my parents there for their birthdays. The food was amazing as always and the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. They went the extra mile for the birthday couple which I really appreciate. I would highly recommend it.

Ordered a Lamb Tikka Masala and plain rice, with Peshaware bread. Took 20min to get ready.
First bite nearly lost my teeth.
The lamb was very very tough.
I have had that lamb before and wasn’t like that. This time just did not enjoy the food. The worst part is that was a surprise to my wife, she loves tikka masala, but not cooked stone!
Unfortunately I have to compensate that waste of time another day and go to sleep hangry but still can brush my teeth.

Quality of chicken is alright,But Watery tikka masalla sauce. grease sitting around the edges. Lamb chops may have put me off of lamb for life, the fat was undesirable. They went straight in the bin. Asked for a mint yoghurt and mango chutney and got 3 mint yogs no chutney and the pots were really overfilled, yoghurt was tasteless.

Me and my girlfriend just went here for an AMAZING impromptu Thursday night curry. This is a proper nostalgic Indian restaurant. You could tell that the onion bhajis were homemade and they were full of flavour. The naan was perfectly cooked crispy in places and chewy but not doughy. I had chicken Achari and it was exactly as described – medium spicy, sharp and tasty. Atmosphere in there was laid back and it was a breath of fresh air compared to other pretentious places in bedminster with over-attentive staff.
