Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This was my first time trying Whataburger as a native Kentuckian, and I really liked it! The fries were some of the best fast food fries I’ve had. I especially enjoyed the raspberry prickly pear drink I got with my meal, it was really delicious!

I eat at this Whataburger literally almost every day! They have some awesome employees here. Karen, is phenomenal, and Stephanie, Michele, Vivian, and the rest of them are great! The food is always fresh and delicious. I absolutely love the Grilled chicken sandwich paired with their amazing onion rings. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Apparently Whataburger recently discontinued offering their version of a military discount.
While Whataburger is free to conduct their business as they see fit, I’m equally free to discontinue conducting business with vendors who don’t share my values.
Perhaps if Whataburger offered a substantial discount I’d feel different, but the offer to up size my meal from a medium to a large meal resulted in a $0.80 discount on a $13.00 meal.
Whataburger has repeatedly raised prices, cut quality and shrunk portions. But now to squeeze their customer base further, they have gone after that generous $0.80 discount.
Enough is enough, Whataburger can circle the drain and drive people away while forcing those that remain to subsidize the loss in revenue.
Adios Whataburger, you’ve crossed my “No Go” line of failed guest relations.
I’ve supported your business for decades and rather then say “thank you”, you’ve decided to go on a war footing with the very people you need the most.
Bad Choice!

My wife and I went their for lunch. Michelle took our order for green chile Whataburger meal and green chile whataburger jr. The meal came with a fries and a soda. $20.20 with tax. The store was busy inside, as well as the drive thru. We received our order in 12 minutes. The food was great! My encouragement to the business, is to wipe down the tables after customers leave. I had a choice of two tables, both which were dirty. I cleaned the table we sat at with napkins & water from the soda dispenser.

We got food poisoning from this location when we were on a road trip and made the mistake of stopping in Tucson for the night. Everyone in my group was sick for a week after eating here. I didn’t even finish my food because I knew something was wrong with it after the first couple of bites because it didn’t taste right. I’m not sure if the meat had gone bad, or what happened, but the food was horrible, and it made my entire group sick. Luckily I realized that something was wrong with the food, and I didn’t finish mine otherwise I would have gotten as sick as everyone else in my group was.

Underwhelming…Food overall was okay. Fries were crispy. Bun to burger ratio was way off. Too much bread and the burger was dry. Only condiment on the burger was mustard. Wish it had mayo and ketchup or something to add more flavor.

Out of all the fast food burgers, I really like Whataburger. The simplicity of mustard and onions and other toppings just kinda stand out for me. I prefer Whataburger over the others with a few exceptions. McDonald’s is a no go for me I always seen to get queasy after eating there. So for what it’s worth, Whataburger is in my top 10.
