I’ll start with the good stuff. The jalapeño croquettes and the calamari were very delicious and well done. The bartender was on point with old fashioned. The salads and homemade dressing were also excellent. Here’s where the place falls apart. The steak (ribeye) had no flavor and although grill marks had no crust at all and felt like it came out of a water bath for a perfunctory stop at the grill. Medium rare or not the meat just had no thought put into it. The veggies were OK, particularly the fried asparagus. I recommend that. So the steak was barely passable, but now I must address the crab legs. Old, frozen, terrible in flavor and if you look at the pictures not even good looking. The meat was a struggle to get out and hardly worth the effort. I get that the prices sort if reflect this review it’s not a high end steak house. On a Thurdmsday night the place was practically empty. How they got a 4.6 on Google is a mystery. Took a long drive to get there and brought a total of 8 people to a disappointing experience.

The food was ok
It took a long time to get our food and the place was empty. The shrimp was cooked good but almost cold when we got it the fries were cold. The biscuits were very salty. The broccoli was hot and delicious

The food was ok. It was hit or miss for us. My party of 6, all ordered different entrees. The lobster, shrimp and salmon was perfect. The steaks were cooked to perfection but flavorless, or unseasoned. The coconut cake was stale, and not fluffy at all. All 6 of walked away very disappointed in just the good itself. Service was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is a little weird. Its a mix of a country cowboy theme with cows everywhere. We had many locals talk this place up and to use it was a major let down.

We got the crab and steak, steak was decent. Crab was the worst I’ve ever had. I’m not sure if it’s old, bad, or both. But you can go to a little hole in the wall crab place very close to this restaurant and get better crab for a better price. Also the fact that while we were there, three other tables near us got crab and no one was given crab utensils. When we asked for them was told they don’t have any. Seems weird but maybe that’s known and we didn’t know.
Asparagus is a must try. That was good.
The steam machine is a lot especially if you are sitting right next to it. Constantly in your face.
Salad came out after the food so that ended up going in a to go bag. This also happened to the people across from us.
Restaurant was not packed. Was hoping for a great dinner for our date night out, but left disappointed.

I’ve onlly ever contacted one other establishedment for comments on a server, but YUGE shout out to TJ last night (3/5). He was VERY personable and very entertaining. He introduced himself, asked if we’ve ever been here before, and walked us thought the menu, including his personal opinions. He was VERY attentive, and seemed to always be “right on time.” The salads came out right when we finished the appetizer, and the meals came out right when the salads were finished. Sure, teh food was great, but it was HIS service and interactions that have convinced us to make this a regular part of our schedule. Thank you TJ. He should be a trainer for all server/customer interacting roles. Give him a raise.

We arrived 1 hour after opening. The reception was very good. The waitress who served us was very friendly and bilingual, which is very good for me since my English is limited. They gave us a biscuit while we waited for our order, which was very good since we were quite hungry The food in general was excellent. We ordered surf and turf. I have no complaints about the food, everything was very good. We had a good experience, although a little pricey. ♀️

I had dinner here on a Saturday night without any wait. I actually went here because the adjacent restaurant had a wait of more than an hour. The Shrimp Alfredo was good but a bit overpriced for the modest portion size. The side salad was brought out late after the entree as I had to remind the server to bring out the salad. The overall atmosphere lived up to an upscale steakhouse standard.

I had the surf and turf. Chose the lobster tail. It was good. Steak a little dry but flavorful lobster tail was tiny. Our server Lea was wonderful, attentive and very sweet. We ate outside and the environs was lovely. Overall, a good dining experience but a little expensive.
