Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family, and one concept in 1964 when our founder, Michele “Michael” Scotto brought his authentic old-world recipes from Naples, Italy to New York City. Michele’s commitment to hospitality, quality ingredients (like homemade dough, 100% whole milk mozzarella and fresh sauce), and the strict loyalty to his now famous recipes, built the business. We were anticipating this place and they did not disappoint. Great family-owned restaurant and they went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. We picked up a Hawaiian and cheese pie and they were delicious! Thank you guys so much! We’ll be back next time we head that way.

Honestly, the staff was super rude. The woman literally threw my food on the counter and packed my to-go order horribly. When I asked for a bag, she said “at the counter” even though no one was there, and guess what? She had to walk there herself to give it to me. Looked like she didn’t want to be working at all. Otherwise, the food was good, but the customer service was terrible.

Greeted by a very friendly man (black shirt) but the woman serving the pasta (red shirt) was very rude. If you wanna work in the service industry at least be polite with a smile.
