I’m always in search of local diners when I visit different towns! I decided to stop at Newellstown Diner for breakfast. I was very happy with my decision! The diner is small but has much personality, which I love. It has its own unique spin! My server was attentive and kind. My meal was only $10

This place feels like it was plucked straight out of 1963 and set down gently in the present day. The counter gleams, the coffee keeps coming, and the grill hums like it knows it’s part of something important. The food is exactly what you want from a proper diner — honest, satisfying, and made without fuss. Burgers come out hot and hearty, fries crisp and golden, and breakfast tastes like it was cooked by someone who actually cares how your morning starts.

The service is the real headliner. Friendly without being forced, attentive without hovering. You’re greeted like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. There’s a warmth here that can’t be manufactured — it’s the kind that settles in as naturally as the smell of fresh coffee.

It’s welcoming, it’s comfortable, and it delivers every time. In a world of trends and gimmicks, this diner is a dependable classic. A quality go-to, plain and simple — and that’s exactly why it works.

Very good and worth the detour off I70. Service outstanding. Tried the burgers. Cooked well but not seasoned. Fries and chips great! Good dinner menu and prices.

We eat here almost every weekend for breakfast. The service is outstanding and the food is cooked exactly as ordered. The fish on Fridays is absolutely delicious. My husband enjoys the new Bloody Mary bar. Friendly and relaxing place to eat.

A small cozy dinner that is worth the exit off the highway! We had a mix of lunch and breakfast and it was delicious. Pancakes were the tops and we did even get the photo of the larger than the plate. They have a sweet back taste that has a birthday cake flavor. The sausage is pre-made standard patties but everything else was off the charts with flavor, including the gravy and biscuits. Come off the highway and give this little place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I came in for the USA/Canada gold medal game at 8am. They had the game on, cold beer, and hot food. Everything was delicious and the entire staff (FOH and BOH) were incredibly friendly. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be a regular. The stagg knew just about everyone by name. They had a bloody mary bar and were talking about doing a mimosa bar next. I cant say enough about this place. Its a stand-out hometown diner. Other local diners should take lessons from them.

I am a local. I am with walking distance to this restaurant. I brought my three kids here one afternoon for lunch. I’d never been here before. Upon entering we stood at the front door for 5 minutes not knowing if we were supposed to seed ourselves or wait to be seated. No one approached us. Finally we decided to seat ourselves. A waitress came over with the menu and it was 15 minutes before she came back to take our order. No kidding. 15 minutes! Then we waited another 15 minutes for our food. The food was very good, but how can these waitresses walk past you a dozen times with an empty table and not realize you’re not getting waited on? The food and the ambience here is very good, but the service we got that day was way below standard.

This place is fantastic! It’s like an old time diner, with the seating and decorations. They have all the old diner staples like fried bologna, hotdogs, french toast, sausage gravy and biscuits. Their cheeseburgers are delicious, breaded, fried green beans, bloody Mary, milkshakes. The food all tastes like homemade! The prices are very reasonable. I will absolutely be going back and can’t recommend them enough! If you haven’t tried newellstown diner, you’re missing out
