We have tried the food several times. We try to give local several chances before making a decision on a place. Every time we have been here our food is not good. I’ve gotten raw sausage in the middle and our food has been cold. It’s unfortunate because it is a cute diner.

The food is always good, hot, and timely, as well as the actual service as far as getting drinks, refills, and food. However, I have never gotten a waitress that didn’t have a bad attitude. They are always complaining about customers. They have foul language. They’re grouchy and genuinely hate their jobs or so it seems. Last night, we took my daughter there for graduation and they were bad mouthing a group for tipping 50 on a 350 bill. They also complained about them not making a reservation or giving them a heads up. It’s fine that they were upset but take it to the back room not to other customers and keep your foul language at home. It’s a family restaurant not a sailors bar.

It was my first visit here. It was recommended by a friend. I must admit, though, the food was just meh. Nothing exciting. It’s not great tasting either. It could have been an off day, and I will probably give them one more chance before writing them off.
