A really nice place. No frills and super welcoming. Their brisket is some of the best I’ve had this side of the Mississippi. The pulled pork was a little wet (not moist) but had good flavor. The beer was excellent. If I’m ever in the area again I’d gladly go back.

The good: atmosphere was nice and the food was good the highlight being the brisket which was excellent. The lady at the service counter was really nice and the food came very fast. Again some of the best brisket I’ve ever had.
The bad: The Mac and keys could have used more salt and it really didn’t taste as good as I would have liked. There are limited barbecue sauce options at this place mission barbecue which is a franchise has 8 sauces and this place only has 4. They were good sauces I sampled all 4 but a little bit more of a selection would be nice.

My finance and son brought me here on Father’s Day and it was some of the best bbq I’ve had in NEPA. Brisket, pulled pork and kielbasa were fantastic! Even my son liked it and he’s the pickiest eater I know.
Great beer selection, prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

Been coming here for a bit since moving to these parts. Solid place for bbq – the rotating specials are also great – the burger and the catfish fry (lent only) are solid offerings.

I went there today with my family and I was treated extremely well. As a black man that’s aways refreshing. The food was great, brisket was tender, the bathroom was clean, prices were less than expected and the portions were larger than expected. Beautiful view when you sit and eat at the picnic tables or in your car. It felt like i was in the South at my uncles house or something. The cashier even came out and checked on us and asked if we needed more sauces. The BBQ sauces and Jamaican jerk sauce were super flavorful. I’ll be back any time I’m in the area or within an hour drive…we might even travel just to come eat here (I live in NYC). The smoked wings were large and perfectly cooked. A++++
(I received news that my mother passed away overnight the day I went here so the amazing customer service and friendly energy was super needed and comforting…they didn’t know i was hurting inside but they treated me like family. This is my home away from home. Found it via harvest hosts. Great Great Great Family business, from the restaurant, the bar, to the brews, to the entertainment … and they made us feel like we were part of the family. I love these people, they are my new family and we will visit them on the way up and on the way back.

Quaint BBQ joint. Good for a quick bite or a couple beers on football Sunday. Brisket was the highlight, as well as the smoked kielbasa as a special entree. Aside from excellent cornbread, sides are standard fare; collard greens are smoky and very salty. German potato salad has bacon and mild flavor. Baked beans are very basic. Sauces are really great. Meat lovers will be satisfied.

My husband and I were driving by on our way to a Niagara and stumbled upon this gem.
We ordered their ribs with potato salad and Mac and cheese and their wings.
The moment we took a bite of the ribs, we went back and got a second plate and finished both. Meat comes off the bone with a plastic fork. I wanted to ask them what the secret of their dry rub was and if they could bottle it.
Live band and atmosphere was also really great and the people there are so warm and friendly. Loved it.
