I’m not sure why the Capitol Heights location doesn’t cook their chicken properly. I ordered a whole chicken, and it was undercooked, which is unacceptable and a health concern. It was disappointing, and I honestly felt bad that the chicken wasn’t even cooked right.
The Sardi’s in Clinton does a much better job—their chicken is always fully cooked, well-seasoned, and consistently good

I had half a chicken with plantains as both side orders, and everything was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and complemented by their tasty sauces. The place is impressively clean, including the restroom, and feels very safe—seeing police officers dining there was reassuring. Service is naturally fast when you choose ready-made options, and there’s plenty of parking, making it super convenient. If you’re in the area, this is a great place to enjoy delicious Peruvian-style chicken with no hassle.
