Lovely spot. The decor inside is very colorful attractive. Service was attentive and quick, good date night spot. Ordered Prawn Mangolorean, first time trying seafood at an Indian place. This restaurant specialty is South Indian cuisine so I thought I would give it a shot. The shrimp was cooked spot on, crisp and fresh. Can’t wait to go back.

It is on the pricier side but we feel the attention of the staff and quality of the meal is well worth it! They do lots of take out orders so you’ll see folks coming and going.
The lusani gobi (fried cauliflower) is so dang good. I could eat a whole tray of it. The vegetable somosas are cooked perfectly and have the right amount of spice.

The food was delicious and our server the pleasant! We got the extra spicy chicken vindaloo and the garlic chicken. Don’t skip on the naan and the mango lassi! Definitely coming back soon.

We went here for my Wife’s birthday. Nice atmosphere but the service was quite slow. Only one single employee in the entire reataurant. Waiter only checked in on us once and was nowhere to be found. Food tastes decent but the price per portion is outrageous. Only one other table was there, took 25 minutes to take our order. Reviews on Google show this restaurant caters more towards Westerners and we can confirm as this was also our experience.

Food has always been fantastic here and I love their samosa and tandoori chicken amongst a bunch of others I’ve had here. The biryani is also on point with great naan. I’d give it a 5 if the prices didn’t skyrocket and paying over $20 a dish just means I can’t go here very often anymore.

We always have an excellent experience at Utsav. The food is phenomenal with generous portions, the drinks are delicious, and the service is extremely attentive and welcoming. Our favorites are the biryani, butter chicken, and saag paneer. It is one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve been to in CT. I highly recommend Utsav for anyone looking for quality cuisine and a comfortable dining experience.

Hands down the best Indian food in CT. The restaurant is is a hidden gem in a small plaza. The food is top tier, I’ve had the pleasure of eating Dishoom in London and honestly, this isn’t that far off. The classics- tikka, garlic naan, and aloo gobi are fresh, and flavored to perfection. I highly recommend stopping!

I like to start with Samosa Chat (sp?) as appetizer – follow with any preferred dish (I like to order extra to “take home”). And don’t forget Nan (garlic Nan preferred).
