My experience was a mixture of emotions. Firstly, I love thai food and know my thai food well, so you can trust me when I say that the food is a solid 7/10. But is it worth the price? I would say no. Especially not in Bali when you can find cheaper options elsewhere, and maybe from a place with working air conditioning.
The restaurant is really hot as its an open kitchen, does not help that the main doors are wide open too. The line of 6+ Aircons does nothing.
BAD EXPERIENCE: the waiter took our orders, we waited for an hour, the waiter came back and took our order again. Why? They lost or messed up our order…making us wait another good 20-30 mins on top of the hour we waited just to get our food.
To compensate our 1.5 hour wait time? A plate of banana fritters ice cream…
Although, I would say the Staff were pretty accommodating and nice.
Recommendation: please serve thai green chilli padi and fried shallots on the side with your Fried rice dishes to make it more authentic.
Also, the speakers blasting music are pretty loud so you may need to speak louder when speaking to your friends.
Would not recommend.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Seminyak! The food tastes authentic with strong spices and fresh ingredients. The green curry was creamy and flavorful, and the mango sticky rice was the perfect ending. Friendly staff, fast service, and comfortable ambiance. Highly recommended for Thai food lovers!

Such a great Thai food place! I had some amazing dishes here, the duck curry was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. I also tried the seafood platter, and it was very flavorful and fresh.
The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the staff are super sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, it’s a really good spot for Thai food, and I would definitely recommend it!

This is a makeover of a previous review. I had posted for this Thai restaurant. The staff outside was very helpful because there was no parking and they parked our bikes across the street. There’s a new and much improved menu now we had the whole fried fish we had the steak, thai beef salad, TomYum soup we had the beef curry, and the Duck curry as well as the mixed sautéed seafood and the pork ribs all were amazing and very tasty. The service was much better this time super friendly and our spring rolls and the amazing soft shell crab bobuns. Which I highly recommend cane out within 5 minutes of our order. We will definitely come back for these so fresh, yummy and tasty. The only thing that was not very good was the green mango salad It was just chopped green mango with a little salt and lime juice didn’t have the proper flavoring. I’m very allergic to MSG so I asked everything to be prepared without it and this proved difficult because they apparently pre mix all their sauces with msg beforehand and of course the Pho unfortunately had MSG if I can make one recommendation to the owner, it would be to get rid of MSG and use natural flavor boosters in the recipes. I’ve been coming to Thaikhun for a long time, and it’s always one of my fave places for thai food. I honestly order the Salmon Garlic every single time, and it never disappoints. The salmon is always fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor so comforting and consistently good!
I also really appreciate Alit and Rizal the waiters there. They’re both super friendly and genuinely make you feel welcome. Their service truly adds to the whole dining experience and makes me happy to keep coming back

highly recommend trying pineapple fried rice and the chicken satay — a huge 1000/1000. If you love chilli, request it and it’s such a great pair with everything especially adding a kick to your dish. the service was beyond amazing as well. You’re greeted with smiles and served with smiles as well. It felt like coming in to your usual place when it’s actually your first. Overall experience waa jusy beyond amazing. Price was a bit higher than usually but it was worth it.

Thaikun Bali is now one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Bali! I ordered the Beef Curry and it was absolutely outstanding 1000/10. The curry sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfectly suited my taste preferences. The beef was tender and the portion size was satisfying.
The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. Overall, a wonderful dining experience from food to service. Highly recommended!
