Food:
Food is okay in general. Meat portions are generous, but the two disappointing items are 1. pork chop – it tasted like it’s not fully defrosted 2. Shrimp – on the menu it says they serve tiger shrimp but they are small

Service is rushed, and the server was a little impatient when he mentioned to us it is our last order but he didn’t mention that we can only have 2 more orders of meat. We wanted a minute to decide what to order but he rushed us saying we have to decide now. However, some other servers are pretty observant and are quick to swap out the plates when things started burning.
FYI 20% gratuity automatically applied to party with more than 4 guests
Atmosphere:
There’s definitely not enough ventilation. The smoke is blowing directly in your face, which doesn’t make it a pleasant dining experience.
In general, it’s a pretty mid Korean bbq place. If you are looking for authentic Korean bbq, would not recommend, there are better ones out there.

Iron Age is always a solid spot if you’re looking for good food and a fun dining experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great place to go with friends or a group. Being able to grill everything at the table makes the experience even better, and everything cooks evenly and tastes fresh. The side dishes pair perfectly with the meats and are always coming out hot and fresh, which really rounds out the meal.

Korean BBQ is one of my all time favorites, and Iron age is my absolute favorite Korean BBQ spot. This is strictly a praise piece as I’ve been at least a half dozen times and would rate it 10/10 everytime.

Once you get your table you’ll be able to start selecting your meets, and I highly recommend starting with spicy pork bulgogi. Just an incredibly tender meet that melts in your mouth. I’d add in the iron age signature stake as your second meet, and from there go crazy and experiment. To your heart and bellies desires. It is worth adding a side or two of corn cheese and/or steamed egg but typically I like to eat as much meet as I can . The price is around $35 a person for all you can eat . Its actually mid to lower end pricing in my experience for Korean BBQ places.

I hit up Iron Age the other night and oh man–it was a total 5/5 vibe. Think AYCE (all-you-can-eat) Korean BBQ where you’re the chef at your own table. They bring trays of meat right to you, and the servers will even grill or flip stuff if you ask-no more burnt brisket mishaps here

I visited this restaurant with a colleague, and I am glad he recommended it! The atmosphere makes the dining experience nothing short of AMAZING! The staff were outstanding and very knowledgeable about the menu and provided support throughout our lunch. The food is delicious, and there are endlessn options for every palate. I really enjoyed the entire experience and am looking forward to returning.

I felt super rushed by the wait staff. I’ve been to a few other Korean BBQ spots, and I have never had the staff check in on our table so often. I understand that there is a time limit, but they came over every 3-4 minutes. This would be fine if they were simply stopping by to check on the grill, but it felt like they were just trying to take over the cooking or rush us into our next food choice.
This is not to say that they weren’t nice; they very much were. My group and I felt that we couldn’t enjoy the experience with the constant hovering and taking over.

I’ve been to Iron Age a bunch of times and I can say that the salad dressing and brisket(dipped in the sesame oil) are well worth it for me!!! Staff are mostly ok,there have been a few who haven’t impressed and one who straight up will avoid you when you’re waiting for more food,that you are on a time limit for! I will literally refuse his service when returning,but I will be returning!

I came here for Thursday lunch and had a very disappointing experience. You’re supposed to have 90 minutes to enjoy your meal, but the crew rushed us so much that it felt far from satisfying. The first half hour, our server was attentive. After that half hour passed, things went downhill. It almost felt like the server was actively avoiding our table, making it really hard to order more meats. Around the 1 hour point, the server sped walked past us, dropped the check onto our table without a word, and was quickly gone before we could get a chance to properly talk to him and ask for more meats. By the time we finally caught someone’s attention, we were told we could only order two more meats because we had just 20 minutes left. They even started clearing our table, taking almost full side dishes while we were still very much eating them. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great (10/10 recommend the rice cakes) and the price is affordable. But the service was just not great. I understand that maybe they were short staffed, but less than half of the tables were occupied. And sadly, this is not the first time I’ve felt rushed eating at this location. Every single time, whether it is packed or half empty, my meal is rushed. I really hope management takes this feedback to heart, because with the good food and fair prices, this location has the potential to be one of the best Korean BBQ spots in the area, especially since it is surrounded by other cool stores and restaurants (pike kitchen).

Prices went up by $5 per person, they added corn cheese and potato salad. The potato salad was mid and really cold but the corn cheese was pretty good. There is an automatic gratuity for 4 and up. The meat was pretty good and tender but I definitely surprisingly enjoyed the shrimp. I think for the price they should’ve added other new products.

Smaller than the Catonsville location but the food still rules. All you can eat Korean BBq. The Hawaiian bulgogi is delicious and so is the steak option. Servers are attentive and keep meat in your grill til you say no more 🙂 you have to ask for a lot of the sides (like lettuce wraps) but they are delicious
