Lucas, our server, was absolutely amazing. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the menu and offered thoughtful, well-informed recommendations that elevated our dining experience. When we mentioned that we were looking for halal options, he immediately demonstrated a deep understanding of the menu and went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable and confident in our choices. He carefully explained which dishes contained wine, whether it was incorporated into sauces or used in preparation, and made sure any sauces containing wine were served on the side so we could decide for ourselves. His attention to detail and respect for our dietary restrictions were truly appreciated and made a significant difference in our experience.
As for the food, everything we ordered was outstanding. Each dish was beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. It’s clear that great care goes into both the quality of the ingredients and the execution in the kitchen.
Overall, it was an exceptional experience, marked by incredible service and fantastic food. We will definitely be back and look forward to another memorable evening.
From the moment we entered to our last goodbye a couple of hours+ later they made the experience memorable.
One of the reasons was definitely our server Eduardo. Knowledgeable, attentive, experienced and fun.
We had received a tip to enhance the experience and it really worked. Instead of everyone ordering their own meal, we ordered three different steaks and some vegetable sides to share and compare. We’re not usually “share food” people, but in this case it turned out to be a winning strategy.
In addition we each had our own starters. The carpaccio and the burrata were the winners.
The Negronis to start off the evening were nicely balanced in flavour. The extensive wine list provided plenty of good options.
What a great place to celebrate our 38th Anniversary.
We began with the fresh oysters and bison tartare…beautifully prepared. For mains, we enjoyed the Rib Eye and Branzino from the inferno wood-fired grill… SO GOOD! The mushrooms and kale salad were fantastic complements to the meal. We wrapped up the evening with a stunning Baked Alaska and espresso drinks. Being a coffee enthusiast, I have to say, the Espresso Martini was absolutely spot on.
What truly made the night special was our server, Nicole. She was an exceptional ambassador for the restaurant. Nicole offered thoughtful recommendations throughout the evening and guided us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and deep knowledge. She spoke so highly of Chef Andrew Richardson and shared her admiration for his journey dating back to his early restaurateur days. Her pride in being part of this team was evident. Special.
Nicole’s understanding of the menu made the experience feel personal and immersive. She even recommended other restaurants for us to try that were part of their family of restaurants….can’t wait to try Bluewater. Nicole made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. She deserves special recognition for an unforgettable meal and will be a huge reason why we will be back!
We ordered the Beef Wellington as our main dish as it’s a dish that is challenging to make at home. Our starters were a side salad and a seafood platter and then dessert for last.
The food quality and service were top notch.
I rated the overall experience a 4 star as we noticed the bathrooms lacked cleanliness. An improvement would be more frequent cleaning as it is a 5 star restaurant.
We will still be back and appreciate you for serving us.
Was my wife’s 60th birthday, wanted to take her to a special place, Elisa did not disappoint.
Friendly, attentive service, nice ambience and a great atmosphere.
My wife ordered the lobster dinner and loved it. I ordered the prime rib, absolutely the best prime rib I’ve ever had – great flavour and very tender.
We finished off her birthday dinner with the Baked Alaska…unbelievable, what a great way to finish off a wonderful evening.
Thank you all for a wonderful evening.
I went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We have been looking forward to this meal for so long!
The steak – no need to comment. Its so on spot. The Mac&Cheese tho, i would expect it to be cheesier and creamier. The Tartare was yum, especially with the char on the toast
Crudo is always good. The bread was amazing too!!
Our waiter was outstanding—attentive, knowledgeable, and professional without being intrusive. We started with the seafood platter, which was delicious, and substituted the tuna tartare with bison. That substitution turned out to be an excellent choice; it was absolutely amazing.
For our main course, we ordered two different steaks, one of them dry-aged. The dry-aged steak was our favorite—it literally melted in your mouth, packed with incredible flavor. Both steaks, however, were cooked to perfection. Sides included Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. The Brussels sprouts were great, and while the mushrooms were good, my only minor critique is that they could have used a bit more richness—perhaps made in garlic & butter—but again, that’s just personal preference.
The absolute highlight of the night was dessert. The Baked Alaska was out of this world and truly unforgettable.
Overall, Elisa is a restaurant that lives up to its reputation. It’s always busy, so early reservations are a must. The ambience is gorgeous, the service is exceptional, and the food is the best quality you can get. A truly outstanding dining experience.
