Outstanding experience at McDonald’s on US-61 (Prairieville) on a Thursday night.
From start to finish, this visit was everything I needed — fast, fresh, and handled with care. Every single item was correct, hot, and freshly made. The ice cream machine was working (yes, really!), and our sundaes were spot-on.
Quick, friendly, and completely on point — this team deserves serious recognition. Special thanks to Paige for her excellent drive-thru service. We were assisted by a gentleman on the speaker as well, but didn’t catch his name.

This location has gone completely downhill. In the handful of times ordering here last 6 months, this location has disappointed me and my family time and time again. This afternoon just takes the cake. Usually, I go through the drive-thru on my way home because this location is closest to my home, but every time I have gone through in the last 6 months there has been items missing, and I always have to check my bag before I leave. My order is always correct on the screen and on my receipt, so it just makes no sense how this always happens. (Usually I’m ordering for 2-3 adults and a young child, however today was just for my child and his dad) So instead of getting my hopes up with the drive-thru, I thought doing a delivery order through the McDonalds app would help avoid any problems, but I was COMPLETELY WRONG. I ordered a Happy Meal for my 4yr old, and the MAIN ENTREE WAS MISSING. Yep, no 6pc chicken nuggets anywhere in the Happy Meal box or the McDonalds bag. The double quarter pounder for his dad had the tag for ONLY ketchup, mustard, and cheese on the box, but of course there were pickles and onions found on the burger. We tried calling the store, THE PHONE NUMBER ISN’T EVEN FOR THAT STORE. The only number online and in the McDonalds app has a 512 area code, yet the store is located here in Ascension Parish which is part of Baton Rouge’s 225 area code. Everything about that store is just a nightmare recently. I refuse to believe that I’m just that unlucky, nor the only one to be having these issues with this location. Definitely going to be taking our chances at the surrounding stores instead of this one from now on.

The recorded greetings on drive-thrus that are going around everywhere are annoying, but the one at this location is ridiculously loud and shrill. I feel like I’m getting my eardrums blown out and a spike through my head. The employees told me that a lot of people have complained and that the manager still refuses to turn it down.

We went there on Monday and ordered large fries and a plain vanilla shake with whipped cream. She said the shake tasted strange and wasn’t the same vanilla as usual. In the middle of the night my granddaughter started violently throwing up and couldn’t stop for 2 days and has had diarrhea for 3 days now. Horrible stomach pains. I believe the shake was spoiled and bad and has had food poisoning from here!!! I’d love for the owners ro contact me about this. It’s sad you can’t even get quality food here for kids who love this place!!

Have been here about 6 times since it opened recently. The first week was the only time the service was acceptable and the order was correct. Every other time, something was wrong with the order. As much as I like the food, I actually dread going to this one or any other location in the area. Zero customer service these days and the level of competence has reached an all time low. How do you completely forget the fries on a value meal? That thing in the photos is supposed to be a breakfast burrito. Looks delicious, right?

No idea who the manager was the night I went but that guy was hustling hard. He was on top of every order, every customer that was in the store he personally spoke with them and got their order himself. Only thing about the store was the tables were dirty and the bathroom is locked to keep the homeless and juveniles out. You have to ask them to unlock it, but once you go inside you will turn around and walk back out. My little daughter said she would hold it till we get home.

Arrived to this McDonald with only one truck in front of me. The truck then was asked to pull into space 1 while it took the cashier forever to take my payment. I then pulled forward where the next employee handed me my drinks then she asked me to pull to the next window to wait for my food to come out. While I patiently waited they had multiple vehicles behind me ordering and paying and all of those vehicles were referred to spots with numbers to wait for their food. I waiting atleast 30 minutes in line just paying and waiting for the food. When they finally brought it out to the window the lady handed me my bag fast and left. Did not even ask if I needed anything else m. She closed the window before I could even tell her I was missing my sons happy meal. Thank god another employee was walking in from bringing food outside so I flagged him down and he brought me the happy meal and BBQ sauces that were missing. This McDonald’s is definitely going downhill. How unfortunate as we were looking forward to having a McDonald’s close to us.

This McDonald’s is the absolute worst!!! I’ve tried to be understanding because it’s new, however, each time is a disaster. I ordered a large fry and was given a medium. I told them what I ordered and all they did was dump that medium into a large container. They took my receipt to verify (they also kept the receipt) and still left off the fries for my other order and Frappe. When I drove around to get my items, they asked for receipt and refused to give me the paid items. Definitely in need of new staff already.

This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been too, by far. Always get orders wrong, slow service, ignore customers at the front counter, it’s really bad. Drive a little farther to go to a different one.

My wife made an online order around 8 went to pick it up at the drive thru, there was barely any cars, the drive thru cashier was such in. A rush she threw the food out the window almost landed in the car. The girl didn’t care at all, didn’t even apologized , my wife had to get a manager to remake the order. This McDonald’s needs to stop hiring unmotivated young kids, that don’t want to work at all, and learn how to be professional and how to service customers. This McDonald’s is going down the drain. Honest to say, we will never buy from this McDonald’s ever again.
