If I say fast food, I’m afraid that would paint a picture of golden arches or a purple bell, sterile walls with echoing tile. This place is a small, local and authentic chain of restaurants with rows of tables in an open dining room and a drive-thru window that leads a line to the street at night.
As a native Texan, I really enjoy trying places off the beaten path for Mexican food. It’s fun to go to places where English isn’t the first language for staff and customers. You know you’re where the locals feel at home. Plus, it’s fun to practice my Spanish, though the gal taking my order spoke English. The eating experience is as authentic as the food. Plates are colorful in presentation, portions are filling, service is swift and the dining room has a bright, homespun feel. For a late afternoon lunch, this is the perfect place for a bite in peace!

They didnt ask for tip which is amazing. They are not infected. We ordered all different flavors, they were all good but our favs were birria, barbacoa and pastor.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order. I received raw, undercooked shrimp that was supposed to be fried. The smell and taste were horrible, and it was honestly disgusting. I’ve ordered this item before and never had an issue, so this was totally unacceptable. This is a serious health concern.

Great place for good food, and really well cooked meat. Minus one star because requested (in English and Spanish) NO onion and all the tacos were piled high with onion.
Fortunately the pieces were big enough I could pick them off verse driving back, but they also didn’t include the drink ($6) that was ordered. So two items not correct on a to go order. Just check your bag and food when they hand it to you and enjoy the deliciousness after that! Cool atmosphere.

I hate making this review but my family and I decided that we will probably stop coming here as much. They use to be our go to spot but if you’re ordering for more than 4 people, they end up messing up the order. Missing stuff or different item than you ordered. The prices just keep going up and the portions keep getting smaller. Occasionally the meat comes a little too dry too but the food is still seasoned solid. I really want to love this place but it’s changed quite a bit within the past 3 years we’ve been going here. Wishing them the best

I’ve been going here for years and I absolutely love it. The food is always great and the drinks are always fresh and yummy. The salsas are amazing I love the spiciness of them! Can’t go wrong with street tacos and the Al pastor is delicious!

This place was so gooooood. To start, the food here was amazing because of the all additional sides, plus some of the drinks like the jamica was AMAZING, I really don’t know how to describe it. Also, the service was amazing and friendly staff to make the best tacos you will ever have. To end, the atmosphere was great because when I got there they were already on the job but they didn’t fully sanatize the area but still much appreciated. All in all, everyone should go here and help a small business because of how amazing people they are and because of the amazing food.

This is my favorite place in Denver to get tocos! I absolutely love coming here! It’s very clean and neat. The service is great! The food is fresh prepared right in front of you! I recommend eating your tacos in the restaurant for best results.

It’s better to come on the weekend to get fresh meat because if you buy inside they’ll give you meat that’s a few days old. Lately, this taqueria has been neglecting its customers. I ordered some tacos al pastor and when they served them, it obviously wasn’t what I expected; it was meat from days before. I complained because I went to compare them outside and there was a huge difference in taste, even after a week A fly had also appeared in my tamarind water before; it was very unpleasant.
