This restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food here has been excellent every time I’ve went. I only thought to start taking photos. I highly recommend the stuffed french toast. Made to perfection, plenty of yummy berries with no need for syrup. The bacon is delicious and crisp. I have ate the cat fish, the very berry waffles (pictured below), the apple pie waffles(pictured below), and the smothered salisbury steak. My husband LOVES the chicken fried chicken breakfast skillet. The prices are excellent. Its a refreshing change to eat meals like these that are home cooked without the mess or all the work plus supporting a wonderful small business that in located in an old school. It is truly a hidden gem located in Trafalgar that is worth the drive!

Chicken and waffles were the best around ! Fried bologna was very good and I didn’t think that was possible ! Good service. Nice place to relax and dine.

Very good food and friendly staff. The facility is a little awkward. It’s two restaurants made into one; a pizza and a diner. Either way the food was good. The restaurant could use a little help, meaning it’s kind of an odd mismatch eyesore inside and not in the cool kitschy way. It’s Not a deal breaker though. Also, maybe because it was Good Friday the place was really empty. The waitresses were very polite and helpful. I’ll include the pics of our dinner and desserts. I had the sugar cream pie. It was ok, but I don’t think it was a real sugar cream pie…the biscuits and apple butter though!! Yum Anyway you’ll definitely get your money’s worth with the large portions and great flavors. Our sandwiches were amazing!! We’ll be going back to try the pizza next time.

Mildly disappointing outcome for an $11 meal. The chicken was dry as a bone and wasn’t too appetizing. My wife enjoyed her ham and cheese melt though. Might be willing to give it another chance in the future, but it was by far the worst chicken and waffles I’ve had.

I freaking LOVED this place, the amazing food, and the adorable waitress – who was doing a tremendous job waiting on the whole dining room by herself. I can’t wait to tell everyone about this spot. Get the hot honey chicken with bacon pizza!

Pizza great sauce good, dough just right,!!!Cheese pizza seem doughing on inside edge.Rest pizza ok & good. However slow day on pizza side, girls on food side need to more conscious on getting customers drinks& refills instead if talking at frt.end register. Seem to wait over 5 mins.for service for 1st drink cokes etc… I guess out of site out of mind???? Other than that great good….

***updated review: I was beyond disappointed the first time I went here which is why previous review wasn’t great. I gave this place another shot and I’ve been going back since. I was bummed to learn my favorite server, Chelsea is no longer there. I honestly went as often as I did because of the service she provided. She was phenomenal every time. She knew my order before I sat down and made sure my allergy was taken care of. The hash browns are awesome. Other than the service I had, the hash browns are the other reason i went. The rest of the food is decent. So I’m changing my review

I wish I could leave 2 separate reviews. One for food and one for service. The food was good; however, I couldn’t get past the service to enjoy it. When we went inside, the door was locked as we were about to walk back to our vehicle, a little boy let us in. At that point the guy sitting at the register told us to wait while they hunt down the hostess. When the hostess finally showed up, she was too preoccupied with why the front door kept locking instead of seating us. We waited almost 5 minutes before even being seated. When we finally were seated, our server took 2 minutes to come get our drink order. There were 3 other people eating in this restaurant and 2 of those people were serviced by someone who else so there was no excuse for this. When she finally showed up, her mask was down and her hair was oily. In the food service industry, cleanliness is important. Although she was super nice, she was also super slow at everything she did. The food was pretty good but unfortunately the service ruined the experience and we wont be back

I contacted the owner of the establishment two days prior to my event that I needed to get fried chicken. He worked with his supplier and was able to get enough chicken for me. The chicken was FANTASTIC! It’s the best we have gotten since Hampton’s Market closed in Greenwood. The sides, smashed potatoes and green beans, were delicious and the servings were very generous in size. The location is very cool, it is in the old Indian Creek Elementary School, which was very nostalgic for me to walk through. I will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant. It is really worth the drive.
