Today, August 22,2021 we Celebrate my Sister Tanya’s Birthday. O’Charleys is one of her favorite restaurants.
I arrived early but it’s was packed. I had a party of 18. The Manager Mark, told me it would be about an hour or longer before the my could have the area ready for a Birthday Party.
But, I prayed and Believed God that they would be able to get us in before 2pm and Praise God and they did. I was introduced to Erin as our waitress by the manager and she helped us decorate, arrange the tables and even helped us with the chair game.
She was just as good as Mark said she would be. I ordered the new Triple Steak Combo which comes with 6 inch steak, half ribs, chicken strips and I got the Sweet potato casserole and a loaded baked potato. However thr casserole was not seasoned at all. It’s like that just took it out of can and added cinnamon to it! Wrong Answer that’s why I taste it a 1. Definitely needs work.
I requested the House Salad and as you can see from the picture how fresh, and ripe all the vegetables were. I give it 4 stars ⭐️. The hot butter rolls are delicious. I give them 4 stars also. My ribs were seasoned, tender and falling off the bone with the right amount of BBQ sauce and a Hickory Smoked flavor. I give them 4.5 stars ⭐️. My chicken strips were crispy, tender, seasoned and good. I give them 4 stars ⭐️. I sure wish they had the honey Chipotle strips or even the sauce. My steak was tender, seasoned, not gummy in fact I cut it my plastic knife that’s how good and tender it was. I give it 4 stars along with my loaded baked potato.
My Sister told me that this was the best Birthday Party she ever had in her entire life. Everyone had such a wonderful time, the food and the great service we received from Erin and Mark the manager who cared around and asked us how we were doing? How is the food and is there anything he could do? We were very well pleased and happy with everything. Look at the pictures:
I do want to say that Erin fixed the best Armor Palmer tea. I give it 5 stars ⭐️ thanks Erin for helping to make my Sister’s Birthday she will cherish and remember for the rest of her life.

I’m updating my review because our experience tonight was pretty bad. This is not on our server because he was good. First, the chicken parm looked nothing like the chicken parm I’ve had here before. It was a tiny piece of chicken on top of a little bit of spaghetti topped off with a few parmesan (maybe?) cheese shavings. I’ve attached a picture. It had almost no cheese whatsoever and the portion of chicken was what you’d find in microwave kids meals. My daughter order a sirloin cooked medium and it was beyond way done. Our table was nasty, the bathrooms were deplorable and I had to go hunt down a staff member because there was no toilet paper and this poor guy had been waiting for who knows how long for someone to come in so that he could get help with getting toilet paper. The trash in the bathroom was spilled over into the floor as well. It really was a disappointment.

I had the cedar plank salmon with potatoes toppled with bacon and mac-n-cheese. It was very good and filling. I just wish there was one near me in Oklahoma. The family got the fisherman’s platter and shrimp pasta. All of the other we’re good also. I don’t think this place has a bad meal.

Ordered my child a chicken slider kids meal and a side of Mac and cheese. Please tell me what this is? The Mac is dry, separate and even old in spots where the pasta has dried into it’s hard dry form. The sliders….lol. I won’t be back. I ordered the most simple things. How do you mess up things like this.

Had a blast spent a week in the area and this is by far the best place to come to the staff is amazing very accommodating and extremely friendly they really make you feel like a valued customer I most definitely will be returning everytime I come through Fultondale and management is exceptional very friendly it’s a must for me to come through when ever I’m in town always receiving a very warm welcome which if your a trucker like myself means a lot

Ocharley’s has really been a disappointment lately. I tried to give them another chance after my last visit with a puny dried up peice of salmon on my salmon caesar salad bowl. This time the cedar plank salmon was ok but pitiful dried up asparagus strings and the dried up, cold, non-cheesy macaroni and “cheese” was awful! I won’t be back.
