Came back to the Original Crabcake Factory tonight for dinner after way too long a time. So glad we, my wife and I, came back! Since 2003 we’ve been enjoying their crab cakes and must say the quality and taste is still spot on. Decided to pair my 8 oz. crab cake with a half rack of baby back ribs, oh boy the ribs were fall off the bone beauties. Wife went with an 8 oz crab cake with fries and slaw. Took a double order of Beignets home as we were too full from dinner to enjoy at the restaurant. Our server, Iuliana, was fast and friendly getting our goodies out to us. Good to know the factory has maintained its level of service and quality. Definitely be back soon.

Went to Ocean City Maryland for weekend getaway. Only thing on my mind besides the beach was the seafood. The first night we went to well known establishment however, I found their food to be unappetizing and unpalatable. On the final night of our stay. We went to The Original Crabcake Factory. It turned out to be as the saying goes, “Save the best for last.” And we certainly did, very pleased. The crab tasted wonderful and fresh. The jumbo lump crabcake had little to no filler at all. The coleslaw was very well prepared and oh my word the loaded bloody Mary was perfectly on point. I couldn’t have asked for more and we are definitely looking forward to going again just to eat at The Original Crabcake Factory.

We had breakfast. Lots of options but I came for the seafood of course so I got their most seafood plate I could. I’d rate it 7.5/10 although it was 1130am. My fiancé got their crab cake sandwich 9/10 which was also another great plate. Also, be aware that they do not split checks. We waited about 30 minutes but it was worth it. Honestly, we got to enjoy the sight. They do have a small outside patio dining. Our service was great we had a 6 people. The waitress was nice and quick. They were busy but overall a great place. I recommend. The bathroom are amazing. Ladies’ room men’s room and they have a 3rd option what whatever you are as long as you wash your hands I love this. They do have a t-shirt shop as well as you enter /leave. Of course a dining area and a bar area.

The Crabcake Factory Crab Dip was delicious – they give a large serving that has a lot of cheese & crab in it and its served in a bread bowl.
I ordered the crab mac & cheese – it was really good & my daughter ordered the crab cake tacos – she said they were delicious.
When seated, the waiter never told us any of the specials – we had to ask for refills on our water/pop & didn’t ask us if we wanted any dessert – just brought the check. But we did notice the other waitress had told all her customers specials/refilled drinks, etc.

Our first meal in OC as man and wife and This place is absolutely amazing!! The food and drinks were delicious and I decently priced my we came for dinner and and it was so tasty the crab fries with cheese was fantastic the Bloody Mary was absolutely incredible we shared the crab, bacon, olives and 4 JUMBO shrimp as an appetizer! we also had the clams in beer butter sauce that was excellent! The service was fantastic our waitress was friendly and attentive all around it was a fabulous experience we loved it!

Every time I go to Ocean City, I visit this restaurant and I always eat the same dish, Maryland cream of crab. It is the best one I’ve had anywhere in DMV and so delicious it justifies a trip to OC.

Sad. We have been coming for years. The lump crab cake does not exist. Fried green tomatoes with ‘lump’ crab was back-fin at 30 dollars a plate. The “Lump” crab cake overly spiced with old bay and no lump crab more like marginal back-fin.
First beer draft served and was flat and not cold. She took it away immediately I went to bottled beer.
What happened to the junco lump pearls served with the fried green tomatoes. ? Also lump crab was not what we usually get.
Our waiter was good.
For 114 dollars. Not really impressed with this meal.

This spot serves up fresh, well-seasoned seafood with generous portions. The fish and chippies were fresh and flavorful, the crab quesadilla had a rich, creamy filling, but the beer-battered fried shrimp could have been more seasoned.
With a lively bar packed , it’s clear this place is loved by plenty for all right reasons!

I stopped by the Crabcake Factory West location about two years ago and had a wonderful meal, this time in OCMD my crabcake loving wife was along and I was anxious for her to try the Crabcake Factory. Service was fine aside from that no one checked on us after we were served and we both could’ve used refills on our drinks. The food was as good as I was hoping for. I had the 8oz Crabcake and prime rib, both were done very nicely. I’d return to the Crabcake Factory again, but might choose the West location based on better service I had there.

crab than you can possibly imagine for the price. Drink a crush any flavor you want they’re good. Downside too many people and no place to park. Don’t forget to tip your bartenders people.
