Rosario’s Italian Kitchen was founded by George Protopapas, owner of Italiano’s Restaurant in Morrell Park and Valentino’s Restaurant in Parkville. Later, the restaurant was renovated and remodeled into European-style with comfortable chairs, pleasant colors, and a familiar feel. In 2012, the restaurant was renovated again in such a way that it shares a classy, yet casual Italian-inspired dining experience with the people of Rosedale and the surrounding areas. The name ‘Rosario’s Italian Kitchen’ is derived from ‘Rosedale’ where the restaurant was built and ‘rose’ which is one of Italy’s national symbols. Dined in for the first time last night to have some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Everything was delicious, the server was very nice and attentive (a woman I forgot her name it may have started with an A or E). The food was delicious and came out it a timely manner. There was a large selection of wines to pair with the huge menu. Desserts were great. 10/10 will be back. The atmosphere and music playing created a Devine experience

I came here twice so far and the foods amazing!Server I had was named Nick and was really great at his job! Great personality and great knowledge of the menu options as well. Then the Restaurant manager Robert is so professional and goes to every table to ensure everyone’s satisfied with their experience, he is one of a kind. I had take out from this establishment. I brought a piece of caramel cheesecake which cost me $7.50. When I opened my bag I was highly disappointed. The pieces of cake they display is not what they give you. So yes they beat me for my money. The piece was very small for what they charged.

I went to Rosario’s for Valentine’s Day dinner with my girlfriend, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing and made the evening even more special.
Brian was our server, and he was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. Easily one of the best servers I’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great experience with Jasper!! We were had a 9pm reservation on Valentines Day and it was packed!! We waited about 10 mins for our table and were sitter. Service was a little behind with it being a very busy holiday, but Jasper was apologetic and gave us great service. The food was really good and the experience was as well. We will definitely be back.

I ordered a New York Strip, Mashed Potato’s & Mac & Cheese. The entire meal was awful. The steak was so fatty i couldn’t even eat it. The rest of the food was so salty it was terrible. I used to come here every other weekend basically. But for the past year or so, the food has completely gone down hill. Will not be returning ever again.

A great dining experience always. The staff is very friendly, professional and provides exceptional service. The food is great! (should have taken photos ) Our favorites are the grilled Branzino and the grilled Stuffed Shrimp. Never disappointed! The portions are huge and the desserts look fabulous!
