Bruschetta was the bomb, chicken parmigiana fantastic, chicken piccatta was awesome and our waitress, Halley, was new but darned good at her job, and earned a nice tip (pay for the service people!) Good beer selection, probably a great place for a ND or U of M game.

This is a place to go if you want to step back in time and enjoy delicious traditional food, and service. The owners have intentionally preserved the decor, recipes and service details (no computers, waitresses use paper slips) of this community gem that has been operating for so long. We had pizza and salad, and it is the best pizza I have ever had – thin crust, herbs, fresh vegetables. It is the style of pizza I had when I visited Florence. If you want a slick modernized dining experience, this is not your place. If you want delicious food full of heart and history, it will deliver.

I went to Pete’s for the first time, with a group of family and friends. It was a very good experience for us. We didn’t come for the atmosphere but for really good pizza!! Everyone loved their pizza! And wings and brushetta appetizers were great as well! I will definitely come back!

Great food, great service and a nice atmosphere, but our guests had to leave because the air conditioner was broken and we were sweating through all our clothes. It apparently didn’t just happen. It was said that it had been busted for a week! I would highly recommend, but call first it’s hot outside! Maybe they got it replaced?

A great place to go locally if we do not want to drive into South Bend or up to St. Joe.
The menu hasn’t changed in 20+ years and that’s a good thing because they do everything on that menu very well.
The pizza is very good (not as good as others think but that is in my opinion) … the garlic bread and cheese spread made on site are outstanding !
The atmosphere is dated and just like the menu hasn’t been changed or updated in a very long time … but still comfortable and clean and if it’s busy the service is still pretty good as the wait staff at Pete’s is top notch.
Pete’s is a staple and a landmark if you will of Niles Michigan … if you want to get out for an evening and not deal with traffic and crowded waits at chain restaurants this is definitely a great place for a drink and good food.
Give it a try. … it might turn into your favorite place.

Great food with pleasant service. The waitress was very friendly and kind. I asked for a separate box to take home some Italian and garlic bread to have with my left over lasagna. She brought put a box of fresh bread.
The lasagna was homemade and a huge portion leaving me enough for probably two more meals.

Tried petes patio for the first time today, and was super impressed. They have great drink options and a good menu with typical bar food BUT they also have a Chinese food special that’s off the menu (its honestly the best chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’m picky af). Also the prices were super low compared to everywhere else. The owner June is the cutest most sweetest women ever! She walked us threw all their drinks and the menu, she was a gem We will definitely be new regulars and look forward to seeing June again.

Love Pete’s, my family had been getting pizza from there for 30 years. I don’t live in Niles anymore but when I’m in town I like to get a pizza when I can. Pizza pick up is a little unorthodox going to the back door in the kitchen but it’s all good they’re always friendly.
Pizza is thin crust cut into squares instead of slices. Ingredients are always good, pizza is always tasty.

Great place, my father and mother took my sister and I here in the 70’s food was great then. I came back to the Niles area after many years and the experience was the same but better because I have new memories of a very cool and familiar place. Pizza is among the best!
