I know I havent been here for some time BUT HOLY CRAP… I wanted to walk out the second I arrived only due to they change the cozy atmosphere and upscale FINE DINING THIS USED TO BE ….Instead its a Mexican restaurant which is fine if you want Spanish or Mexican cuisine. What happened to the carpet and oak walls and the fireplace???? Then the price for steak is $57 bucks AND chops which in the images they promote have 5 to 6 YET on a plate my dinner was 3 chops on my plate and then they forgot to bringout my sautéed spinach with my three chops that they burnt to a crisp. Oh did I mention when we ordered chips and Guacamole they brought to our table which was squeeze between a full length bar now in side and the wall but back to the appetizer one chip in a small one scoup of guacamole. Only after we said something did the kid bring us a proper bowl of chips. Anyway this is NOT the place it used to be. Oh and do not depend on the images of the food cause they changed that too the chops you see in the Google ads are no where near the size nor the amount of chops you get!!! Over all go somewhere else!
FULL STOP LOL SO PISSED I WASTED MY 83 DOLLARS AND 20% TIP JUST A WASTE OF TIME I SO feel bad it was my moms 64TH wedding anniversary and wanted to impress her w some fine dining in the area. Well thats not Copper Canyon anymore. Look if you want a good Mexican dining experience go to redbank at Yuanitos that IS THE BEST FOR THAT…. This was basically a small skinny bar with some tables cement walls and tile floors and no cozy warm ralph lauren atmosphere it used to have JUST A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLACE AND DISAPPOINTMENT IN TOTAL.
It’s tapas style, wish that they adjusted portions based on party size. The spring rolls have 4 but there where 5 of us. The bigger priced salad is pretty big and was a good size for the 5 of us though along with the other things we ordered. The Brie cheese was very unique, I never had Brie cheese cooked in sauce like that. The steak was the best thing, kind of chewy but had a really great flavor. Also the fries were hot and cooked perfectly, the margaritas were very good and very strong. My favorite was the regular canyon one. I had the Grand Canyon too but felt the flavor was a little off.
The bathroom is just a one person bathroom. Service was pretty nice and attentive. Hostess wants you to have a reservation, even at 4 when they open which is a little odd. But overall it was very nice.
Great service, really awesome drinks, and we had 3 apps, and chips and guac.
Everything was delicious, a bit spicy for my lady, but we powered through.
If you like spicy, and quality, this place is a must.
Great implementation of Covid precautions, tables are well spaced out!
Horriable and over priced.
We all had a bunch of small plates. The food was fantastic. Specific highlights include the Crab Cakes, the Pork Bites, the stuffed peppers. Even the kids menu had really good chicken fingers and fries.
The drink I had, The Grand Canyon margarita, was also excellent
