It was a lazy Sunday afternoon, and I was in the mood for some pizza! I’ve never had Jet’s before, so I thought I’d give this spot in Schererville a try. I decided to order the Eugene Supreme and it was absolutely a delicious pizza! The sausage was nice and full of spices. The vegetables (onions, bell peppers, and banana peppers) were all crisp and fresh tasting. Additionally the the crust and undercarriage of the pizza was crispy and a fantastic chew. The crust was wonderfully caramelized giving it a sweet and savory flavor. I’ll certainly be making my way back to Jet’s in Schererville, for future visits.

First off, it’s not burnt, it’s caramelization. That’s how Detroit style pizza is supposed to be.
It’s the best “fast food” type pizza out there. I’ve had Jet’s all over the country and it’s consistent. Never had anything but their Detroit style and bread sides, but I’m sure everything is good, no matter what you order. Their ranch is great.

There’s a lot of outstanding pizza in Northwest Indiana. So much that serious pizza aficionados are apt to overlook national or regional chains. While that’s generally a sound policy, overlooking Jet’s is a mistake. Objectively, Jet’s makes a unique and delicious pizza. The Detroit-style crust is flavorful, buttery, and has a wonderful, crisp-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside texture that, once tasted, is difficult to not crave. The toppings are high-quality and abundant, and the sauce strikes a nice balance between sweetness and acidity. The Schererville Jet’s is an exceptionally well-run business, the management and staff of which are conscientious in their work and obviously committed to providing an excellent product and a hassle-free customer experience. I recommend the eight-corner pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni AND cupping pepperoni. It sounds one-dimensional–but isn’t.

I’m giving my rating a reluctant 5⭐️ due to a “situation” I experienced in my first visit. Steve (the owner/manager, I believe) made it right, though, and resolved the matter quickly. I ordered the large Jet10 and some hot wings that were and for the inconvenience, I received a couple of coupons for free
The food was delicious, and there’s a nice variety of food to choose from. I’m from Chicago and don’t know anything about a Detroit deep dish, but I’ll be back to find out. That’ll be the next pie I try

The cheese on this pizza is divine. When they say premium mozzarella, they ain’t lying- it’s Ooey gooey goodness that melts in your mouth. The perfect complement to one of the best pizza sauces I’ve ever eaten. And that crust- yes this is how Detroit pizza should be done – Job well done Jet’s – you now have 2 loyal customers and I can’t wait to try your other options. I’m not going to lie I initially thought that this pizza would be trash. I don’t know what it is about the name or the colors or the branding but right off the bat, it gave me cafeteria-gas station pizza vibes and I only went because my hubby could not wait to try them. Boy was I wrong on all accounts! I am telling you there’s a reason this pizza is a little bit more pricier than Pizza Hut or Little Caesars or Domino’s. I was not expecting the taste of that first bite. I was floored and had to finish the rest of that first slice (which is why it’s missing in the photo). Not to mention how nice and hot the pizza was when we got it and how pleasantly kind all the staff were. Definitely give them a try, if you like Detroit style pizza you will love Jet’s Pizza, but be sure to go to this location in Schererville (I’ve heard the Hammond location isn’t too hot. They have different owners). I can’t speak on the thin crust Pizza yet but I’m sure I’ll have a review on that soon. #newpizzaplace #5stars

8 Corners pizza was heavily burnt on the corners…much more than it should be …It should be crispy,nice baked,but not almost black!
Pizza tasted very bitter because of being scorched.. Instead of enjoying corners, we had to separate them and discard to trash!
Not a nice experience for first time ordering in this pizzeria.
One good side was that employees were very kind .
We noticed that our pizza was awful when we arrived home…If we took a look at store, we would have requested from restaurant to make us new one… Now it is too late.
Be aware when you order from here ,that they don’t have quality control of what and how they prepared your food!

I live in Crown Point and drive all the way out to Schererville to this Jet’s Pizza location. The pizza is great and the ingredients always taste fresh. My order is always on time if not early and it’s made the way I like it every time. I order online and ask for triple sauce in the comments and they never fail to do it exactly right. I’ve tried the other locations and they have ignored these comments and the pizza is just not as good. The manager and staff are all extremely friendly. I highly recommend Jet’s and this location in particular!

Jet’s pizza is fabulous! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the pizza’s great crust and its generous amount of sausage and mushrooms. We ordered thin crust with extra tomato sauce. We will definitely order Jet’s Pizza again!

It’s not a dine-in, but I was picking up dinner anyway. The young guy that helped me at the counter was respectful and nice. He’s amongst a rare few cashier/cooks I’ve met that had personality beyond their job title. So I know he’ll go far in life.
On to the food…
I got a large 3 topping pizza with – extra sauce (cause I usually don’t know what to expect lol) bell peppers, tomatoes, and bacon. For the crust I got the Cajun seasoning (it was worth the greasy finger licks ). All in all I would definitely go back. Maybe try something else. And get extra sauce and extra cheese lol cause that’s just me. Definitely gonna get the Cajun crust every time.
