This place was very nice with quick seating and service the food was delicious and pretty fast as well. With the fluffy pancakes, crispy and soft Belgian waffles, to the nicely cooked eggs and crispy hash browns no major complaints all around would recommend and am looking forward to going back.

Generous portion of fruit on the pancakes/waffles. Waffles are a bit expensive if you want them as a side. Corned beef hash is from a can. Portions are moderate and the menu has good variety. Everything tasted good at a minimum and seemed like it was prepared with good quality ingredients.

Staff was very attentive and accommodating of our large group. Ambiance feels like a nice family diner. They also have tabasco and cholula on every table which was a nice touch.

My mom and I visited this place for the first time yesterday. Very bright and open atmosphere. Jamie was our waitress, and she was very friendly. The service was fast and the price wasn’t bad for the portions received. We had leftovers for the next day. My mom ordered the Texas skillet with pancakes, and I ordered the South on the Border skillet with pecan pancakes. OMG the food was DELICIOUS! Way better than iHop or any other breakfast place. Definitely recommend the skillets, and the pecan pancakes were so fluffy and tasted so well with the maple syrup. Will definitely come again. Thanks for the nice experience.

If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that feels like a warm hug on a lazy morning, this is it. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is so well-lit and inviting, you’ll wonder if they’ve secretly harnessed the power of the sun itself. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease, whether you’re rolling out of bed or showing up polished and ready to conquer the day.

The service staff? Absolute gems. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely cheerful—they make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. Sure, the prices lean toward the “treat yourself” end of the spectrum, but let’s be honest: the upscale diner vibe totally justifies it. You’re not just paying for food; you’re paying for the experience. And what an experience it is.

Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the South of the Border omelette. This thing is a masterpiece. Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it’s the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite to appreciate the culinary artistry. And the fruit on the side? None of that sad, mushy stuff. We’re talking fresh, vibrant strawberries, bananas, and blueberries that actually taste like they were picked recently, not last season.

Portions here are generous but not excessive—Goldilocks would approve. You’ll leave full but not in a “I need to unbutton my pants” kind of way. And let’s not forget the pancakes. Fluffy, golden, and served with warmed syrup (a detail that deserves its own round of applause), they’re the kind of pancakes that make you question every other pancake you’ve ever eaten.

My friend and I left already planning our next visit. This isn’t just a breakfast spot; it’s a destination. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by. Your taste buds (and your Instagram feed) will thank you.

Golden Oak is a great spot to grab breakfast with friends or family & walk out feeling full & satisfied! Great menu selection to choose from, fresh ingredients, great portion sizes & the staff is always SO nice! I will also note that it seems cleaner than a lot of breakfast spots around. I definitely recommend checking out Golden Pancake! I’ve been there over a dozen times & I give it 5 STARS!

I was pleasantly surprised by our visit! I had been hesitant to visit due to google review ratings but we took the leap and were glad we did. Atmosphere: The restaurant was so bright, big and welcoming, not at all what I expected upon arriving as the wall hides the dining area. It has lots of cute decor, the booths were clean and the floors were as well, no greasy or sticky diner tables to be found. The service was great, our drink order taken within seconds of sitting down and extra plates provided for our split meal. We never felt underserved. The skillet we ordered (Golden Oak) was so tasty – and their extra crispy hashbrowns were so good. Will definitely visit again.

This reviewer loves a diner. And loves a breakfast. Add this one to the list! Bonus that it’s pretty close to me! Old school diner food. Quick turn over from placing order. Really good coffee. Will be back!

We came here for a date breakfast. Staff was very nice. There was a short wait, despite being plenty of seating. I ordered an omelet which ended up pretty burnt and dry. Pancakes were tasty. Simply due to the prices and quality of my entree, would not return as I felt I could make a better omelet at home.
