Lively sports bar outpost of a Chicago fixture serving fried chicken & fish dinners plus cocktails.

It was a Sunday Brunch visit my children took me to celebrate my birthday. The music was live jazz ( very nice), but very loud for my taste. The server was excellent.
The food took way too long to arrive to the table, the kitchen was backed up it appears they need more kitchen help during the busy Brunch Times. Appetizers arrived in about 40mins or longer after ordering. We were seated about 2:30 ish and did not get food until about 4pm. Our party got s bit restless from having to wait a while some went outside to stretch, use the restroom, get a snack peanut butter crackers, (me), really.
Once the food came overall it was good, my son wanted his waffle extra crispy, it was not. My daughter’s fried green tomatoes was short by one. They did remake a new order kudos for that.
The food overall was good, the chicken was awesome, it was the wait time of receiving our order that put a damper on the dining experience and the overly loud music which made it hard hear during a conversation without repeating and leaning in to hear the our person.

First time here, and the food was hot and delicious. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. They also have hookas and a bar if you want alcoholic beverages. The DJ plays great music, but as others have stated, it could be a bit loud for some. Also, 18% gratuity is automatically added despite the menu stating it only occurs with parties of 6 or more and after 10:00p (I was there around 6:00p), but all good because my waitress deserved it.

Went by this place but didn’t get food for lack of time so we decided to get delivery later.
Ordered food and lost a delivery person because the food wasn’t ready in 30mins so Uber Eats had to find another driver. By the time we got the food it was barely lukewarm. The fries were greasy, not good.
We had “catfish” in quotes, shrimp, and wings. The fish is whitefish or something. Definitely not catfish and was dry. The wings were good for bar food.
Oh! This little see through piece of end bread though. What is that even ♀️. Definitely could’ve just kept that.
The shrimp were the best thing. I’d order those again. If you’re going to drink and hangout try the

Food was great, service was great. Music a little loud for a normal conversation. On weekends they automatically add 20% tip to the check so be prepared. And they add a liquor tax so be prepared, I had never heard of that before.

The service took forever on a slow, uncrowded Monday evening. We watched as the kitchen staff walked around and talked for 45 minutes, re-dropped fries and chicken that had been sitting for longer than the hour and a half we were there, then failed to change their gloves which were used while handling food, holding a jug of Bleach, touching doors, and the cook had the same gloves on leaving the kitchen, going out of immediate site, and returning to the kitchen to grab food with his gloved hands to plate the meals. The icing on the cake as I found a long piece of thin hair in my sandwich. I will NEVER return.

I took my mother here for her birthday dinner. My son and thoroughly enjoyed the chicken! It tastes better than fast food. They cook your food after you order. It comes out to you hot!

OK, my drink was awesome.. made to perfection! I ordered the wet pu$$y with Hennessey added. My fish and wings were really good, seasoned well.. I appreciate the amount of fries however, they need to be cooked atleast 5-10 more minutes;I had a lot of uncooked ones. The Service was great.. and I’m glad it was b/c there was a 18% tip included and it was only 2 of us that arrived about 8p… music was cool as well.. lights get dim after 9p.

When I got here this place was packed. It’s split into a bar area and a dining area. Don’t expect to find seating – it’s just that busy. You should probably just get a takeaway order. And it’s going to take a while to order and to get your food.
Not really a kid friendly place – it’s a bar.
The fried chicken itself was good/tasty. But at the end of the day I don’t know if it’s tasty enough to do all the waiting to get your food.

I came in to dine in, but after being ignored for 10 minutes I decided to take out. I received an excuse from one of the young ladies working behind the counter. She claimed she was only working the front area and not by the bar. I politely and diplomatically decided to ignore the excuse and simply get my food. I also tipped well. I’m a Chicagoan and I need my mild sauce from time to time. Some businesses need to learn how to treat customers. This experience will make me go to other Harold’s in the Atlanta area.

Amazing food with a lively atmosphere. My mom and I enjoyed our meals while listening to great music. The DJ played a great mix of old school and new. And the drinks are EXCELLENT! Nothing watered down here, they were strong enough that we barely finished the first drink. Our chicken and chicken gizzards came out quickly and were well seasoned and hot. The fried okra was a great addition to our meal. The servings are big so be prepared to take home leftovers!
