We got off a cruise and had time to kill and ate breakfast here. So glad we did! Good price, great service, cozy environment and excellent southern favs. Grits were buttery and had texture. Best ever. Crispy, meaty bacon. Crunchy hashbrowns. Perfect fluffy biscuits (made fresh daily) with tasty sausage gravy with the right amount of pepper. The waitresses come around every few minutes to refill coffee. A full breakfast for 2 with an added on grit for $35. Def recommend!

This cafe was recommended to us from the Hilton Gardens Inn where we had stay at. This place was packed full of character and kindness. We were greeted upon entering, the hostess invited us to enjoy the large table in the main dining hall, but my party of 4 desired to sit by the Christmas tree instead. Our Waitress was named Cathy and she did an excellent job keeping up with our group. I got their Country Breakfast that came with 3 eggs, bacon, grits, and a biscuit covered in gravy. Plus I added on 2 slices of French toast. Needless to say I took a lot of food home. So many flavors, I wanted to try. The French toast was just a little on the soggy part when it came to cutting it with the butter knife, but once I added some syrup, it was perfect. The highlight of my meal was the smokeyness of the bacon. So delicious and full of flavor, cooked to perfection. We had a wonderful time here and took home leftovers. Thank you Southern Charm for a great meal.

Amazing food, amazing prices, and amazing staff!
After a long night of traveling we finally arrived at Orlando International and went here for breakfast. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. They let us stay a long while after we finished our meals so we could be could be comfortable before heading to the port. The food is great, nice big portions for a good price. I would 100% recommend this place. I can see the locals love to be here and come often.

Great breakfast spot. Be prepared for a wait, this place is popular. Super friendly folks here. I was pretty tempted by the Shrimp & Grits but I just wasn’t that hungry: the portions are huge! I ended up with a breakfast scramble with a monster “cat head” biscuit. The hash browns were also plentiful.
Jen got the avocado toast, which was a special. Teresa took great care of us, never letting our drinks get to half. Definitely keeping this one n the stable!

A hidden gem of a restaurant in Brevard
Southern Charm Café in Cape Canaveral is a family-owned local gem serving generous portions of true Southern comfort food. It is just minutes from Port Canaveral and I am surprised that I had not seen or visited this restaurant before. . We stopped in for breakfast and found the service, food, and price all excellent. The fried chicken was especially good—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and served in portions big enough to share or save for later. I actually had it cold two days later and it was just as good as when it was served hot. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do; every dish feels home-cooked and made with care. There are great signs on the wall that will make you smile or laugh. The staff were warm, attentive, and quick to smile, and I really appreciated that they offer a veteran’s discount, which says a lot about their community values. The café itself has that welcoming, casual diner feel that makes you feel like a regular from the first visit, and the menu offers all the classics—biscuits and gravy, waffles, omelets, hash browns, and more. The only challenges are the location is right off busy Astronaut Boulevard and the parking seemed a bit limited and therefore challenging when we visited. Even with those, it’s worth a visit for the quality and hospitality you’ll find inside. Southern Charm Café truly lives up to its name, and we’ll definitely be back for another meal hopefully in the near future.

Absolutely one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had. Kat recommended the chicken and waffles and the meal was big enough to feed two linemen. I added a scrambled egg and a side of grits. It’s been a couple of weeks since our visit and I can still taste it. Fantastic food and Kat provided warm friendly service. Don’t hesitate if the wait is a little long. I promise you, it will be worth it!

Stopped in for a brunch meal with 6 of us, I was looking forward to trying some biscuits and gravy. We ordered the chicken salad sandwich, French toast with berries (skip this, its frozen fruit and very watery, bitter not sweet) fried green tomatoes (these were delicious) and the Cuban sandwich. They have like 5 cakes to pick from for dessert but every time someone orders it, they take entire cake out and walk basically to the table. The temperature can’t maintain at that level of carrying them around. The sweet tea was really good. The bathroom was gross. Dirty and crud on everything. Skip the restroom.

The service here is impeccable! Very friendly people with a lively atmosphere. The chicken here is very tasty and has its own unique flavors. It’s worth trying. You can add it to the eggs benedict too. The chicken and waffles was a 8/9. It had a very fluffy waffle. I had 2 eggs, hashbrowns, giant biscuit, & bacon.

I tend to be a fan of what some might call “breakfast dives”, by which I mean no frills kind of places where they sling hash browns and the waitresses call people “honey” and “darlin'”. Well, welcome to Southern Charm. Highly convenient to the Port Canaveral cruise terminal, which is how we found them. As these sorts of places go, I’d have to say it isn’t among my favorites based on this first visit, but we certainly left satisfied. Friendly service, a larger array of menu items than I would have probably expected, and decent quality. Would we go again? That’s a maybe. Our favorite breakfast place when we’re in the area has always been the aptly named Simply Delicious, and for sure that remains true. But it’s closed on Mondays so we found ourselves at Southern Charm. Food quality was good. Eggs over easy were well prepared, eggs scrambled were not overcooked as you get some places, and the bacon was tasty & crispy. We tried both the home fries and the hash browns and found them to be Equals. Just depends on your mood and preferences. Gravy was quite good. Not overly peppery which we appreciated. The chicken left a little something to be desired. Wouldn’t recommend that to be honest, but it was okay. Sweet tea was (very) sweet. So to wrap up, just a very friendly place, seemed to be amply large where you wouldn’t have a wait other than at prime times, and reasonably priced. Super causal. Easy parking. (But if it’s not a Monday next time we’re in Cocoa, we will be back at Simply Delicious instead.)

In town for a cruise, came here based on previous reviews. Food was excellent, service with a smile and seemed like a place the locals go to. Lots of groups chit chatting at their tables. We had the french toast, pancakes, veggie omelet with hash browns and the country breakfast.
