Antipasti, seafood & a big pasta menu, plus regional wines, at a convivial stop with a terrace.

If you want Italia food , great service , amazing pasta and by far away the best tiramisu in the world, than this is the place to be – pasta was great but the tiramisu ( fresh made every day) was a work of art – the balance between sweet , flavor and the creamy yet very velvety texture…. Well … that’s a secret that no Italian nona will explain, but you can enjoy . Thank you so much for having us as your guests

Excellent traditional food restaurant. One of us is celiac, and they adapted the dishes so that none contained gluten. The food is very good—the ossobuco and risottos are excellent. The waiters are very kind.

We got hungry to Mediolan and found Papa by accident. And it was best accident that could happened. It wast best restaurant experience not only on our Italian holiday but in our lives. Best service, best food, best desserts and drinks. I recommend it for everyone. We also meet the owner that was really nice and open. Pure Italian sophisticated dining experience!
Thank you guys!

Food was amazing and the Risotto con arrosto was exceptional. Service was great and it’s good to taste the old fashioned Italian cuisine (FYI their chilli oil is spicier than Szechuan food, it tastes so good and so worth trying)

I walked into the restaurant a bit skeptical because of the rating, but I was so hungry—and something about the place just drew me in.
The atmosphere is warm and family-like, with a lovely little flower on each table that instantly warms the heart.
But what truly blew me away was the spinach ravioli—an absolutely delicious, genius dish! I’ll definitely be coming back. (The tiramisu was wonderful too!)
Thank you for the lovely hospitality.

A not so touristic hidden restaurant nearby the cathedral. Authentic food and very friendly staff. Fast service and great food.
We paid 35EUR per person for a starter, a main and fresh orange juices. It’s a pity that we didn’t have more days to try other items on the menu like the catch of the day (seabass on our visit) and the black risotto etc.
We will return hungry for more!

It was an honor to dine at a restaurant named after Pope Francesco. I walked in by chance, but ended up enjoying one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in Italy.
At first, I thought I was just ordering a typical Italian dumpling dish—but the depth of flavor truly surprised me. You could taste the craftsmanship behind the food, and I genuinely enjoyed every bite.
Thank you to the kind female staff member who welcomed me so warmly. Even though I was alone, everyone made sure I was well taken care of. I also appreciated being able to charge my phone during my meal—such a thoughtful touch.
One of the highlights was the flaming cheese performance—it was both exciting and impressive! And the owner’s light-hearted jokes in between added so much charm and laughter to the experience.
I wish I could’ve tried more dishes, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat much that day. If I ever visit Milan again, I’ll definitely come back.

Considering the location, i expected this place to be a trap, but i couldnt have been more wrong. What a nice family owned restaurant with tradition for good food. I think considering the location ( Center of Milano) the prices were really good. Cherry on top was an older lady (the waitress) which helped me put on my jacket becouse i was too sleep-deprived for such a simple task 😀

Racist, overpriced, tourist trap. 120 euros for a fish? My Italian friend said I was sitting in the worst place in Milan.
Also what I wanted to order was not that one, the owner persuaded us to order that one, I remember I saw the price was 20 euros(which is fair), but in the end he said it’s 12 euros per 100g, and it’s 1kg?
