This place is a great spot for locals or anyone looking to grab a quick lunch with friends. The tacos are delicious, but they’re a bit small for the price. The drinks are fantastic and definitely worth the cost. The desserts are super fresh and made to order. There are two parking garages nearby, so choose your spot accordingly.

Birthday celebration continues first time visiting BarTaco. My cousin who is also celebrating her birthday recommended BarTaco. We had several different Tacos they were all really good. My cousin also recommended the Ginger and Pineapple margaritas, very tasty. Our waiter Tyler was friendly and attentive. Here’s a picture of the gang with Tyler. (I took the picture ). Overall experience was great. If you’re in the Tampa area check them out.

Hair in our salsa! No apology from staff.
There was hair in our salsa and we let the bar tender know. His reply was “you wanna switch it out?”. Not even an apology. Not a single care. See pictures for the hair.
On top of that, when we sat down, he took our order, didn’t write down a single thing we ordered and the only thing we got was our drinks. After 20 minutes, we asked if we could get our salsa and he said yeah, and put in the order. We had already ordered it! The salsa come instantly after he out in the order. Still another 15 minutes goes by and people that came after us got their food. Then we find the hair in our salsa and let him know and we said we want the check and we are leaving after he obviously did not care or apologize for it. Turns out he never actually placed th order for any of our food. I hate when servers/bar tenders do not write down food orders, as they unsually end up forgetting something, but this guy for the whole order! The bar was not even that busy and he was not a good or friendly bar tender. Kind of had an “I’m better than everyone” attitude.
We won’t be going back.

Bartaco was a great experience for us. Our server Soraya was fantastic. She explained the menu and how everything worked with ordering on the cards and putting them up if needed. She answered some questions and made sure we had a high chair and everything for our baby. She was just very pleasant in general. Everything we had was good. The churros came out first and Soraya apologized and said she could have more come out later after our other food. The kids tray was great, a taco, cheese quesadilla, corn on the cob, and pineapple for $8.50. Our daughter enjoyed it all. We did too. I ordered the carnitas, chile lime shrimp, ahi tuna, and roasted duck tacos. My favorite was the roasted duck, the carnitas had a great flavor as well and could tell it had marinated for some time to absorb all the flavors. The ahi tuna was a nice fresh feeling switch up with the lettuce wrap. The shrimp one was okay, not my favorite. My wife got the Baja fish, pork belly, and ribeye tacos she said she enjoyed them all. The sauces on the table were all solid didn’t love any of them but tried them all. Really cute place in a fun area. Would go back, food was good, but the great service would bring us back.

We were invited back and were very well taken care of. I write a lot of reviews, most super positive but sometimes an issue comes up in hospitality and service recovery can save the day. Thank you to the team at bartaco for your professionalism and service. You hit da ball outta da park!
Tried the half chicken this time a great and unlikely dish for a taco spot but it worked so well with the dipping sauces we had for our feast.
What a grest atmosphere here too. Looking forward to a return but also towards finding other concepts run by this restaurant group.

Great atmosphere and people watching. Not a greatly represented tequlia concept. The chorizo was wierd. We had our dog with us and the staff were sweet on her. There is a little card you put up when you need something. The menu items can be ordered on a little check list using a pencil. We had 5 tacos, a tamale, kale salad and guac with chips and a tequlia tasting. There are little tables and seating that are ok but an employee came to bus the table next to us and sprayed cleaner all over our food and table. Use a towel, apply the spray to the towel then wipe the table. Come on. Be aware of customers. This is food service not a cleaning business.

The best meal I have had in a while! First visit and it will not be our last. Margarita was delicious, chopped salad exceptional and the tacos were so so yummy! Our server, Haley, was attentive and so sweet! We had the pleasure of meeting GM Gibby on the way out and we were able to acknowledge the atmosphere he has helped cultivate (after we watched him walk the whole building and hug his entire staff- kitchen included!). Being In the service industry ourselves, my son and I were thoroughly impressed!

This was our first time visiting Bartaco, and we had a great experience. We ordered a variety of tacos including duck, ahi tuna, and chorizo. We also shared gazpacho and cucumber salad. Everything was fresh and tasty. They specialize in margaritas, but also serve beer and sangria. Our server Stan was friendly and attentive and added to the experience.

BarTaco was amazing!!! The drinks are hand crafted, all ingredients are freshly squeezed, structured to your liking. The tacos are tasty, especially the crispy pork belly!!! Try them out on Hyde Park Tampa.
