Shut up and take my money. This place is nestled cozily near the UNC Asheville campus. We came here for breakfast because we saw the great reviews and holy shitake mushrooms is it amazing! Once again we were blown away by the portion sizes and the variety offered by their menu. The atmosphere is busy and hustling which is always a great sign of great food. I got the filthy animal, with the shitake mushroom gravy, and a side of fried green tomatoes. He got the full breakfast with over easy eggs, the pimento grits, the sriracha maple sausage and a side of the pork gravy. We also got maple bacon latte’s. Another meal knocked out of the park. 15/10 best breakfast spot ive ever wandered into

Honestly mine looked so good i immediately started eating it. So this is my best friends plate.
Im allergic 2 dairy and the vegan biscuit here is so good! It takes like a regular buiscut a little dense and doughy but honestly I like it like that. I put their dairy free butter and eggs on my buiscut.
The jams are Devine! My personal favorites are the berry bomb and strawberry but my best friend loved the apple pie that tasted like pie somehow.
I loved it so much im taking 6 buiscuts and a jam home.
The staff is so sweet too! Honestly might be willing to drive 6hrs to come back.

Edit: The buiscuts I bought to-go are great re-heated!

The tastiest breakfast I’ve had all year. I’ve traveled all over Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Seoul, Osaka, Manila and Taipei and they had the best breakfast. The place is unassuming, you order from the counter and they serve your food. We had the Full Breakfast Plate with homemade maple sausage and salty and sweet bacon. The egg was cooked perfectly. We also had freshly squeezed orange juice and the biscuit sandwich with ham to go. The ham was the right amount of salty to flavor the sandwich which had egg, cheese and sausage. Except for the bacon side being on the small side, I have no complaints. Just great, delicious, unpretentious food.

Yummy foodie spot! Tried the Asheville Benedict, the Fried Bologna Benedict, and the biscuit doughnuts. I grabbed a couple of samples from their jam and butter bar to taste with my meal! Such a great breakfast/brunch spot in Asheville!

I tried this place years ago when it first opened and loved the green tomato biscuit. I ordered a few different things for our family when I was in town this week and it was exceptional. Ordering and pickup were easy (love the parking availability!) and the Filthy Animal was absolutely delicious. I recommend this place for some of the best breakfast in Asheville that has easy access.

Quaint restaurant. Quick & friendly service. Huge portions. We had eggs, honey apple bacon, pimento cheese grits, friend tomatoes and of course their massive biscuits. I can’t say enough about how good the food was!

Got the chicken biscuit. They use chicken thighs so had a Big chunk of fat. That was the first bite so it kind of turned me off to the whole thing. The food temperature on everything I ordered was cold. The gravy on top of the biscuit and the fried green tomatoes were chilly.

Biscuit Head absolutely lives up to the hype and then some. From the moment you walk in, the energy is fun, welcoming, and very Asheville. The biscuits are outstanding — fluffy, fresh, and clearly made with care — and they serve as the perfect base for both savory and sweet options.

The menu has something for everyone, including excellent vegetarian and vegan options, and everything is packed with flavor. The biscuit sandwiches are hearty and satisfying, and the toppings, gravies, and jams take things to another level. The self-serve jam and butter bar is a highlight and makes the experience feel unique and interactive.

Service was efficient and friendly despite how busy it gets, and the staff kept things moving without making it feel rushed. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the quality is consistent.

If you’re in Asheville and looking for a memorable breakfast or brunch spot that’s casual, creative, and delivers on taste, Biscuit Head is a must. We would absolutely return.

OMG! I can’t believe I pretty much ate the whole thing. We had the “Filthy Animal” and “Country Ham” biscuits. Both were delicious! It’s a cozy little place. You order at the counter and then take your seat. The service was quick and friendly.

Sooo so good. I got the French Toast biscuit and it was so much food and so delicious! I also got an iced Appalachai to drink and it disappeared so fast I couldn’t get a picture. I went with 3 friends and we all got something completely different and so delicious. The food was hot and ready super quickly, too.
