Came to Gladewater on a Sunday afternoon for antique shopping and decided to have a late lunch here. There were no other customers when we arrived so it felt awkward at first. We had no clue what to order as the only menu on the wall was for their drinks and soups of the day. After standing there in more awkwardness for several minutes I asked if they had a printed menu. This whole time three employees were standing behind the counter waiting for us to order. We were handed a menu each and told we could pick any seat and they would come by to take our order when we were ready. After that we were able to relax and decide what we wanted. The waitress took our drink order while we looked over the menu. She was very nice and brought our drinks out fast. I ordered a quiche and later a mocha iced coffee. My wife got the chicken bacon ranch pressed sandwich with sweet tea. The food was very good. We had to get some cookies and a muffin to take back home before we left. I noticed as we ate that the bench seat had a row of outlets behind it. Probably a great place to recharge in more ways than one while antique shopping. Definitely worth visiting the next time we go to Gladewater.

Gorgeous little gem of a cafe! I stopped in for a coffee. The ladies were very nice and the coffee was delicious! Love the black and white theme, it’s such a pretty place.

Loved it! Brittany, Teresa and Alenna did a wonderful job at taking care of us. We are in town for a funeral and just so happened catch this place looking for some coffee and a snack before we head back home to Fort Worth. For coffee, I had a snickers iced coffee, it was awesome! Then he had the chicken bacon ranch Mac n Cheese and says it was “bomb”. Overall we enjoyed our experience and we would recommend stopping by. Bonus for the adorable atmosphere as well! Super cute spot!

I went to The Clair Cafe & Tea Room because they are right across the street from me. I asked if I could do my school work and they were super nice about it. I ordered a coffee and it was not only up to my picky standards of coffee (Blame GG, just kidding) it gave me so much energy, I’ve never had that effect from coffee before. I finished up earlier than expected so I got some food to go and like 6 macaroons to try with my husband tomorrow, the food is so delicious and they give you such a great helping.
Definitely recommend 10/10

This is a very cute little cafe! The lemonade was excellent and the sandwich was even better! The service was good and they even brought some water to our pet while we sat on the patio. I would absolutely eat there again.

The Clair is an impeccably clean, friendly, and inviting establishment. Connected to a fine antique mall, you can shop and enjoy your food and drink, seating is indoors and out on the walk way.
Small town hospitality with a refined selection of pastries and sandwiches.
Just across from the town square, you will want to stay awhile and enjoy it all.
Grace and Peace in your travels.
