DinerLuxe food is heavenly! We believe in serving the finest and freshest ingredients from recipes handed down through generations. We take pride in our cooking. We use fresh lean ground beef for all our burgers; our soups are par excellence-talk of the town; and we cook our own turkeys, roast beef, hams and corned beef every day. You may notice the aroma of fresh baked pies, cakes, cookies and bread because we cook them right here in our own bakery. The soda fountain only serves milkshakes that are the old fashioned kind made extra thick. The list goes on and on. The portions are plenty and our prices are fair. This restaurant/diner is awesome. My husband, daughter and I were in New Milford last Saturday and decided to stop here because of the curb appeal. They have a bunch of gluten free options. The hostess that took our to go order was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and what can be prepared gluten free. I didn’t get her name, but she was very nice and professional. I had their burger with the gluten free bun. My husband had, I think, a chicken sandwich with disco fries and my daughter had their pancakes. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Thank you for a great first experience! We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is cute and welcoming and the staff was very nice! We had Jack as our server, and he was very knowledgeable of the menu, recommended items, and handled all our special requests with a positive attitude!
We ordered the sliders and mozzarella sticks as apps – yum! The tomato sauce was SO good, and overall, these were great.
I had a side salad and the wings special. The wings were cooked to perfection! My guests enjoyed their breakfast platter and quesadilla.
If I had any areas of constructive criticism… I think a few croutons on the salad would’ve added a nice crunch, our drinks had a bit too much ice in them, and the ladies’ bathroom needed a refresh. But honestly, because the food was so good and the staff was so friendly, these items were really minuscule and didn’t impact my rating.
I’m sure we’ll be back again to enjoy this nice dinner!

Very clean old school diner. I would say it’s been a successful reopening , the place was very clean and well staffed with friendly attentive workers. I had Bacon cheese burger which was huge and very tasty , the fries were perfectly cooked and I washed it down with an ice cold root beer . My wife had the big apple wrap , again a large portion with crisp fresh fruit and vegetables. We ended lunch with a slice of blueberry pie mmm good.

I’ve passed by Dinerluxe building multiple times for the past 2 years when it was closed. Finally, they reopened in December, and I’m glad they did. The meal comes with a salad and bread. I started with French onion soup with a perfect amount of Gruyère cheese and a tasty broth. And for lunch, l’ve been craving comfort food and decided to try their meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies. The meatloaf was deliciously comforting. The texture was just right, with a nice balance between tender and hearty.
The mashed potatoes with gravy complemented the meatloaf well. The veggies were fresh and well-seasoned. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some classic comfort food! Service was excellent.
The diner has a glitzy exterior but has a cozy atmosphere inside. It’s clean, newly updated interior, and comes with excellent service. Rob, the server, was awesome! Had a nice chat with him.

Hands down everything was superb
My family and I had dinner last night and everything was efficient, along with delicious. Our waiter was attentive and polite. We have missed DinerLux immensely and ecstatic their back. Everyone was so welcoming and provided exceptional service. We will be back for breakfast soon!

Easily would have been 5 stars because the food and staff were beyond awesome BUT $5 for a non-refillable fountain drink is almost a deal-breaker for us. $10 for me to have 2 glasses of soda when my whole meal was $15 doesn’t work. Hope they reconsider that fountain drinks cost pennies but to customers it’s important.
