We are a small, locally owned and operated barbecue shack. We always greet you with a smile and treat every customer like family. Our menu consists of (but is not limited to) pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, potato bombs, loaded quesadillas, loaded fries, BRC potato salad, baked beans, and mac ‘n cheese.

I have always had an issue with writing a bad review on a ‘mom-n-pop’ BBQ stand but bad BBQ is the equivalent of a bad dating relationship.
Let’s start with the parking. There is plenty of it and it’s free. There wasn’t a wait to get served and seating was available. The server/cashier/cook was very friendly and did the best she could to accomodate. That was the high point of the meal.
The food….was horrendous. I have eaten at hundreds of BBQ establishments and this was by and far the worst. The portions were tiny, i.e. my $16.00 brisket plate consisted of some form of meat (not brisket- pulled and could have filled have of an ice cream scoop and on a bun that was almost slider size), a handful of fries, and a scoop of coleslaw that had the texture and taste of ground, wet sawdust. I have never not eaten coleslaw at any restaurant. Today was a first. Underwhelming and bland are the nicest words to explain today’s lunch. For the eight of us to eat, it was about $130.00 not including gratuity. That’s with some of the kids only getting a sandwich without a side or drink.

Food was good. Ordered a plate and got a sandwich but that was alright I guess. Maybe misunderstanding. Pleasant covered outside eating. No washrooms to wash up or restrooms. Service was a little slow for me being the only one there at the time.

Ordered 3 BBQ sandwiches and they were so small. I’ve eaten here before and got a large BBQ and it was great enough to fill you up. These were kids sizes and for 7 dollars each. I took a picture of there sandwich sizes up against a reg bun. So no I want be back, and I’m a regular customer.

Had the ribs and smoked wings with side of fries and baked beans. The beans were great, smoky sweet and with a little spice. Ribs were tender, wings were fall off the bone. Fries were seasoned good. Finished everything off with strawberry Italian ice.

Cannot give two sets of five stars, so 5 stars will have to do. Stopped here this morning and asked the young lady her preference.. the loaded quesadilla with sour cream was wonderfully delicious.. the sour cream was fresh, the pulled pork was soft and well seasoned.. the BBQ shack sauce was just tangy enough to have zing and zest to be sweet and spicy without being too vinegar tasting.. the sweet tea was brilliant.. it was as if it was a tea was made by kool-aid for adults..
Also the young woman running the service window was very polite and promptly got to my order.. she was also very helpful; and I will definitely be returning again.. thank you.
