@maadlambcuisine in Houston is a vibrant, energetic restaurant with a great ambiance that stays busy for good reason. The space feels lively without being overwhelming, and despite how packed it gets, the staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, keeping everything running smoothly.

We ordered the Lamb Skewer & Naan combo, Lamb Dices of Toothpick, Hot Pot with two different broths, fried peanuts, and cucumber salad. The highlight of the meal was the lamb—exceptionally fresh, tender, and well-seasoned. The lamb skewers were cooked perfectly, with bold spices that enhanced the meat without overpowering it, and the naan was fluffy and fresh, making it an excellent pairing. The lamb dices were flavorful and addictive, ideal as a shareable appetizer.

Overall, Maad Lamb Cuisine delivers top-quality lamb, a buzzing atmosphere, and warm service. It’s an excellent spot for group dining and a must-visit in Houston if you’re a lamb lover.

The best place for lamb treats. The size and price are both very reasonable for a group of 4-6. You can try many different dishes without having to worry about the cost. Lamb stomach is soft enough to chew. Lamb soup with rice noodles is also a good appetizer. This place seems to be particularly suitable for drinking. They provide toys for drinking games and the bowls are like traditional Chinese way of drinking wines. Services were great. We ordered non-spicy lamb leg but were served with spicy ones. They then replaced non spicy ones for free. I love this place.

Our group of 8 colleagues gathered here for a farewell dinner, sharing the Four-Course Half Lamb meal.
The lamb skewers were absolutely outstanding – the highlight of our meal. Of the two soups, one was delicious and well-balanced, while the other had quite a strong broth that was a bit overpowering, though the bone-in meat was good.
The service was exceptional. The staff handled our large group with ease and made the evening special.
The atmosphere was inviting and perfect for our farewell gathering.
Overall, a solid choice for a group dinner. Highly recommend the lamb skewers!

There is always a line short or long and that just tells you this is a good place. I’ve been here 3-5 times and always excited to go back.
Appetizer I recommend the wasabi sesame tribe if you like fun taste to start with.
Lamp offal soup with vermicelli added. Very comfort soup if you want something to clean your pallets.
Lamb ribs won’t go wrong at anytime and it’s not gamey at all. Dipping sauce and seasoning bring it to the next level.

Came here for the first time on a Friday evening with a friend, absolutely blown away by the experience. We ordered the Grilled Lamb Skewers with a side of Naan (combo set), edamame, toothpick lamb and lamb shank in hot chili oil.

Lamb skewers are seasoned very well with cumin but grilled to the most optimal texture for chewing.

Naan looked and tasted like northern Chinese 葱油大饼 the dough isn’t pillowy and soft but rather very tough to chew through.

Toothpick lamb was probably our favorite dish of the night. The lamb is seasoned incredibly well with fragrant spices and every bite had a small kick of heat to it.

Lamb shank in chili oil was served with the meat sliced into the serving bowl, very thoughtful. The lamb is very tender and falls off the bone. It’s not very salty so dipping it into the hot chili oil is a must.

This restaurant serves Xinjiang Cuisine with a heavy focus on lamb dishes. Without a doubt, it beats out so many “authentic” Chinese restaurants I’ve dined at in the Bellaire area. They also serve Xinjiang Style hotpot, very rare to see in Houston. The lamb prepared here is top quality and reminiscent of authentic lamb I’ve eaten in Mainland China.

This a hidden gem in Houston, when we arrived at 6:45pm there were hardly any patrons in the dining room, but more groups started coming into a little after 8pm.

Service here is pretty decent, the wait staff suggests you drink water from their small bowls, but you can always request water cups. My only gripe is every dish seems to be somewhat overpriced for the portion you get, nothing comes with a side of rice unless you order separately. I’ll be returning frequently as I’ve recommended this place to a few friends already.

I recently visited a fantastic restaurant that specializes in lamb dishes. We had a group of 15 people, and we ordered a whole lamb, which was absolutely amazing. One of the highlights was the lamb broth soup, which was incredibly delicious and is definitely a must-try item on the menu. We also thoroughly enjoyed the succulent lamb belly and the special lamb bun. The BBQ whole lamb foreshank was another standout dish – it was incredibly flavorful and juicy.

However, I was a little disappointed with the lamb skewers. They weren’t as tender and juicy as I had hoped. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic. The restaurant offers top-notch service, and the ambiance is charming and clean. I will definitely be returning to enjoy their incredible lamb dishes.

The service is quick. Food comes out quickly but taste was 6.5/10. Edamame was cold. The lamb skewers (had lots of fat) say the come with naan but it’s actually pita bread. The prices on the menu are cheaper than the actually price you will get on the bill (both cucumber salad and the lamb skewers).

My family and I had a great time here. A highlight was the warm naan bread with the skewers! Service was quick and attentive. We also ordered the ribs, shank, toothpick lamb bites, cucumber salad and intestines. All were very flavorful, we didn’t have a bad bite. Worth the trip!

I recently visited this place and tried their half lamb combo, and I was amazed by the GIANT lamb kebab—it was the first time I’d ever seen one that big. They prepared the half lamb in four different ways, and each was superb! The kebab and the soup, also known as hot pot, were the most flavorful. They were so delicious and rich in taste. Even though we were seven people, we couldn’t finish the entire meal. They’ve mastered cooking lamb without any odd smell, which is why I highly recommend this place.
