Great service and yummy food at all times of the day. I’ve been coming here for years. It’s always been consistent. Love the updated look and new menu items along with the rewards program. The vanilla chai latte is one of the best I’ve had. Pictured are the taquitos and pesto chicken with sweet potato mash and asparagus. I usually get the glorious morning muffin as well and it’s so dang good.

Let’s start with the service, it was awesome. That alone makes me want to visit again. Now to the food! It was delicious! Had the Texas breakfast and I can not complain about a single thing. The grits need an award. They checked on us frequently during our visit. One server Tobe’ was extremely kind and helpful. He went above and beyond. I want to thank him for the service he provided and the smile he kept.
Also if you go in get the mimosa sampler! Just make sure you are sharing because they a nice size. We will definitely be returning.

So this place is pretty decent. Definetly would rather this over first watch or another broken egg. Pricing is reasonable too. LOVE the atmosphere, very cozy. Love the wood, it is super clean. My ONLY gripe is that my egg Bennie’s were a bit overdone, like beyond an over medium level. Other than that this place is pretty dope.

We recently visited and were delighted by the upgrades and renovations—the space feels like an entirely new restaurant. The food was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our breakfast selections. What impressed us most, however, was the outstanding service from the general manager, Doug. Since we were dining with our newborn, he kindly offered us a quiet, private area away from the front entrance where work was being done, ensuring our baby was comfortable. His attentiveness and genuine care made our experience even more special. Thank you, Doug—we will definitely be back!

Ordered the Texas Breakfast, was surprised how dry the Scrambled Eggs w/ cheddar (unmelted) came out. House potatoes pretty average, lacked inspiration & flavor.
Bacon – 2 of 3 were crispy to perfection. Some of the best Wheat bread & jam I’ve had in a while.

My wife and I actually dined at this location twice this week because after the excellent experience on the first visit we decided to go back .
We are happy with the food, atmosphere, and the gracious consideration experienced by the servers and the manager who I found out is named Doug.
In the past I used to have a ‘ meh ‘ attitude about going to Black Walnut when my wife suggested us going there to eat but now I consider it a treat.
The restaurant has changed its decor and I believe that the food quality is much better.
The restaurant has now become one of my favorite places to dine.
