Poke Box in Nags Head is absolutely fantastic! The poke boxes are always generous in portion and incredibly fresh and delicious. Every ingredient tastes high quality, and you definitely get great value for what you pay.
The service is quick, polite, and consistently friendly, even when they’re busy. I’m especially impressed with how efficient they are with online orders. They manage to keep everything running smoothly while handling a full restaurant.

We visited PokeBox almost 2 weeks ago and I cannot stop thinking about the bowls we enjoyed. The ordering process was simple and the options were vast. PokeBox also offered the most dressing choices of any Poke restaurant I have ever seen. The portions were also fairly large and our group all had leftovers. Pictured below are a tuna/salmon bowl and a salmon bowl from our group. All of the toppings were fresh, service was fast and seating/parking options were easy. We even considered going back for a second meal. Definitely worth a stop!

If you’re okay with eating moldy meat — go ahead.
The owner or manager was extremely rude and claimed it was impossible, but both my wife and I clearly tasted mold and saw small black spots.
No refund. Absolutely disgusting.

We ordered 2 poke bowls online. There’s a 4 step process where you pick out your ingredients. They did the curbside delivery.
We chose the salad instead of rice at the bottom. Overall, the bowls were really good. My bowl with their Signature sauce was good, but the sauce was a bit salty. I think I needed to mix the sauce a little better before eating.

PokeBox offers a great fast-casual alternative to the busy restaurants in the Outer Banks. You can get in and out quickly with your food. Always amazing! Best poke on the beach for sure, they are clean and portions are always generous. Everything is really fresh and delicious! Tried a DIFFERENT poke spot in southern shores recently and it was way too saucy (like drenched in sauce) and I found a hair in my food! I’ll never stray from Poke Box again after that. Their miso is on point as well. 10/10! Their Nags Head mall location is also great, super consistent food and service from both locations.

These are really, really perfect sushi bowls! The perfect amount of each item so you aren’t left with too much rice, or not enough toppings. I ordered online in advance and picked up, ohhh it was SO GOOD!!
