Nice little Cafe. Biscuits and gravy were stellar. Homemade biscuit was like it came out of a Montana campfire cast iron skillet. Dense, moist and a refreshing departure from an expected buttermilk biscuit. The gravy was thick, white, not overly seasoned, and peppered with pieces of fresh pork sausage. The sausage was amazing. Fresh ground pork with well balanced seasonings and no nitrate/artificial/preservative taste. The only disappointment, yet not worth a star downgrade, was that the hash browns were potato chunks, and not the shredded kind we were expecting. Overall a lovely place to stop on our daytrip to the Bitteroot Valley.

We had an amazing meal at this quiet little place in Darby. I had some of the best French toast I’ve ever had and my partner had Chicken Fried Steak and an absolutely MASSIVE pancake! Highly recommend to anyone! Family owned which is awesome!

Everything was fine. Menu was a little confusing. Had no idea what my total would be. Staff was good. 24 dollars felt a bit pricey for what I got. Anyways, the menu was handwritten and confusing.

The portions were bigger than we thought, we ordered the medium size pancakes, and it was 1 huge pancake! It was delicious and the service was great. It’s a little hard to get into with a larger vehicle and the seating area is small, but I think that’s one thing I liked about it. Small enough not to be so noisy and the servers were able to be available if we needed them.

Incredibly unprepared for anything. We had to ask for everything multiple time. Cream for coffee. More coffee. Our food. Jam. Syrup. Utensils. All of it had to be asked for more than once and the food took 45 minutes. Cash only is also a draw back and the owner is mean to his employees and not kind to guests.

We absolutely love coming here when we visit in Darby! This is our favorite place to have breakfast. Everything on the menu is delicious and perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. Just don’t come here expecting to eat in a hurry – it’s a family-ran business and the good food takes time.

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and fast. I ordered a blueberry pancake and it was larger than the plate. Price was good and I left full. But I have to admit, the Hank Williams Jr. song set my expectations kinda high, and I was a little surprised at first glance. Its just a normal diner inside. 9/10 I would definetely get breakfast here again.
