Honest review folks. New Year’s Eve experience. It was pretty slow. The service at the bar was great. Andrea was amazing. Aside from that, everything else sucked. The music was the wrong vibe. Not the Latin vibes you would expect. Music was not seamless, unless you pay to play. I paid for a $26 palomilla steak that’s a top favorite. Yes, I ordered well done without onions. What did I get? Ehhh.. an over chewy, chard steak that had no chimichurri sauce initially. Frijoles lacked flavor. Rice was bland. I had to add Cholula. Need I say more? I won’t be back unless it’s only to order drinks.

Good spot for Mexican food. The food is tasty, the prices and deals are decent, and it’s a fun place to hang out with friends. The environment is definitely more on the loud and lively side though, so it’s probably not the best place for a quiet date. Overall I’d still definitely recommend it.

We needed yummy food to feed our hungry families and Tijuana Taxi Co was absolutley the right spot for us. I ordered the fajita platters as well as rice and beans off their catering menu for 35 people. Delicious! And lots of food in an order.
When we picked up the food the atmosphere was fun and vibrant. It would’ve been nice to dine in. Brian and his team went above and beyond putting our order together and helping us carry it out too.

The manager on duty made what should have been a simple visit uncomfortable and unwelcoming from the start. There was no greeting, no guidance on seating, and we were left to find menus and seats ourselves.
An unnecessary confrontation followed when my husband was reprimanded for holding an empty cup while he was actively looking for a trash can and a server. When I became aware of the situation and offered to dispose of the cup myself, the manager snapped at me and claimed she had already told me to do so — which was not the case. The interaction escalated quickly and unprofessionally, ending with us being told to leave.
We recently moved from Parkland and have been genuinely surprised by how difficult it has been to find consistent, welcoming service in the area. As former servers ourselves, we understand restaurant flow, treat staff with respect, and tip generously — which made this experience even more frustrating.
If the individual identifying herself as Sarah/Sara is indeed the manager, this behavior is concerning. Guests should be greeted with professionalism, not hostility. Notably, the bartenders appeared uncomfortable with the situation and seemed apologetic, which spoke volumes.
On a positive note, Brian/Bryan appeared far more composed and professional; focusing his attention on guest-facing areas like the patio would likely improve the overall atmosphere.

Stopped in for a quick bite & the atmosphere as well as the mocktails were amazing. I ordered the El Jefe Steak & Eggs as well as the Enchiladas Pueblo. The vibe certainly didn’t disappoint & the service was good, the food however could have been better.

This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. When I placed my order, I specifically asked the waitress to please leave out the cheese due to my dairy allergy. However, when another staff member brought my meal, I noticed it had cheese on it. I pointed this out, and they took it back.
When my meal returned, it was obvious they had simply scraped the cheese off rather than preparing a new dish. The beans and rice had clearly been wiped clean, which is completely unacceptable. I informed the waitress that I wouldn’t be eating it, as it was unsafe for me, and requested the check.
To make matters worse, when I received the check, they had attempted to charge me twice for the meal. This experience was beyond disappointing, it was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I am both dissatisfied and disgusted.

It’s relatively mainstream and mass produced. Food is decent but not overwhelmingly good or bad. They do not allow customization of any tacos nor are you allowed to have three different tacos for their platter option. I prefer when you can mix and match. The server was really sweet and tried hard, but had to ask twice for water and we never got the chips and salsa. There’s no condiments or spices on the tables. The food was not correct when they brought it out although they did fix it promptly. The rice and refried beans were sort of stale on top like it had been under the heat lamp for a while. Because there are so many different restaurants to choose from, I will not be going back to this one.
