Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover!
Omg!! My husband and I went to Missa Brown’s in Salisbury last night, and let me tell you — this place is a hidden gem! When we first pulled up, I was a little nervous because there was literally no one there! No cars, no guests inside but we decided to give it a try anyway. I’m SO glad we did!
We ordered the 6-piece wing meal with two sides and cornbread. Our wings were tossed in mambo sauce, and for sides we had mac & cheese, collard greens, and (don’t judge me ) a cheesesteak egg roll because it’s my favorite!
️ MY GOD TODAY! The food was absolutely delicious. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The wings had this smoky taste, like they were grilled before being fried — loved that! The greens had a slightly sweet touch that balanced them perfectly, and the mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had this hint of Gouda that took it over the top. The cornbread was good too — I just like mine a bit sweeter personally.
The young couple running the place was so sweet and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

I heard really good things and decided to get dinner for my family from MBs tonight. This is the best restaurant in the Salisbury area. The chicken breading was unlike anything I’ve had on chicken. My son’s catfish was fresh. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were also a hit. Cornbread unmatched. Yams that could’ve doubled as a dessert sooo tasty. Mac n cheese had the perfect cheese to noodle ratio. The strawberry pretzel salad is straight from the Lord. If I need catering services at some point they’ll have my business. Everything is cooked to order.

Gem of a find. Located in the same Center where Goin’ Nuts used to be and occupies the same space that Rosenfeld ‘s used to be. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Don’t let the Soul Food name fool you. We ordered take out for 4 people. Everything was absolutely perfect. No complaints. You must give them a try.

I have been several times and am telling friends about Missa Brown’s. I am greatly impressed by the quality and presentation of the food, and the friendly, excellent customer service. I pray that this establishment never loses the quality, nor the friendliness that often happens with places once they start to grow. We need to support this small business — definitely worth the $! I have tried the cornbread (yummm); the cheesesteak eggrolls, the chicken sandwich (fried) — so delicious, it may not look like a lot of fries, but trust me, it’s enough and they’re good! I took my goddaughter and she got the buffalo wings, greens, mac and cheese, and loved alllll of it–especially the buffalo wings. She told me that Missa Brown’s would be her spot for the buffalo wings…and trust me, she loves buffalo wings so that’s saying a lot about the great quality! Much success!

I love Missa Brown’s warm atmosphere, friendly customer service and delightful soul food platters. The flavor in each bite reminds me of Thanksgiving gatherings and home cooked meals made with love. The collard greens were seasoned well with a kick and the chicken tenders were packed with flavor to a crisp. I will be returning to sample more menu items and delicious treats. Check them out and bring an empty belly and a smile!!

AMAZING!!!!!! The Brussel sprouts have a sweet glaze that is amazing. Mac n cheese cheesy and flavorful. Wings seasoned and cooked to perfection! Cornbread was special!!!!! I will be back!!!!
