I absolutely love the Social Goat! The owners Dave and Shannon are amazing people, always welcoming. Great food, great priced drinks. Fun games, and cool events. Highly recommend!

First I’d like to start off by saying that our server, although a little awkward, was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was also a little awkward and didn’t flow well. The part of the visit that I had the biggest problem with was the food. We ordered a Charcuterie board that had very few items on the board, minced meat, and canned pineapple! This app cost $22. I then ordered a flat bread with ham, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The sauce was flavorless, and the condiments basically were nonexistent. The restaurant just opened about a month ago so I hope they work out the bugs on the quality of the food.

First of all they are still showing pictures of Clancys food before it became this disgusting place social goat. The food is tasteless, most seems like it’s straight out if a can, the owners are always drunk there acting more like it’s a club house for them and their friends. Worst place in portage, and it was amazing when it was Clancys, just sad to see a landmark like Clancys destroyed into this place

The bartenders are great and they made sure I was taken care of. Yes, I am calling them bartenders and not servers. I went here on a Friday because I heard it was a family-friendly restaurant and they were doing line dancing. Well, it was neither family-friendly nor a restaurant. It was a bar scattered with drunk people and older folks grinding on each other. I don’t want my kids to be seeing that. We ordered a couple of items on the menu. The shocking thing to me was the corn bread muffins that were seen as an appetizer and were ten bucks. I never heard anybody serve 4 cornbreads as an appetizer. The pizzas were floppy, tasteless and small. The sauce seemed to come straight from a can and I spent around 18 dollars for a pizza. I much rather go to Bams right around the corner. Or even Little Caesars. At little Caesars I can get an edible pizza AND bread sticks for 9.99. The portion was absolutely not worth the price. The menu had really weird sentence structure and word choices and many descriptions on the menu seemed to be written by chatgpt….

This is not a restaurant. This isn’t for kids. This is a bar and this place is delusional for advertising it otherwise.

I reached out to the Social Goat to set up a surprise 40th birthday for my husband. The communication was great, the space was large and they worked with me within my budget. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and we even had a dedicated bartender for our event who was amazing. Shout out to Keri! The food was delicious too! I highly recommend the Social Goat for your future parties and events!

I’ve been here a few times with friends and with family and we all loved it! Line dancing on Fridays is a fun time. Psst, they teach you the steps! Saturdays they have karaoke and YES it is family friendly! There is a variety of music sang throughout the night, making it fun for everyone.
The bartenders are nice, quick and remembered my go-to drink from my last visit. While I havent had much of the food, the pizza is good. I love the options for their pizza crust and unique drink menu.
This place is amazing with table top games that make it fun for anyone. The owners and management are friendly and did an good job making this a great place to come with or without family.
