It is rare to have a perfect combination of incredibly good food and outstanding service but Hot Tava Grill and Sizzler manages to achieve both thanks to its charismatic manager/owner and fantastic staff. The manager/owner is what hospitality needs right now: someone who directs his staff kindly but is right there on the floor serving and talking to customers whilst ensuring that service flows during what was a packed and very busy evening service. I called to say we were running late and the manager/owner advised that was perfect since they had a very busy night. We ended up arriving pretty early due to lack of traffic and whilst they didn’t have our table ready, the manager again was very courteous and found us space in a seated area and made sure we were comfortable. It was only a few minutes before we had our table. Again, both the manager and staff were careful to manage the experience so asked that we ordered one item at a time. Poppadoms first, once finished we ordered the starters and then finally the main. This meant that the restaurant could manage a very busy night but also that we got served piping hot and delicious food without feeling we were being rushed. And boy was the food was worth the wait! Thin, freshly made and perfectly crisp poppadoms. None of the stale overly greasy versions some other restaurants serve. I ordered the Punjabi samosas. They were delicious: crispy flaky pastry, spicy potatoes and veg filling, with what I think was fresh coriander to truly lift them. Next was the largest portion of mixed grill I have seen (there is an even bigger size..) Tender chicken, juicy lamb chops and so much more.
Thanks to the wonderful staff and manager it was a truly memorable night!

The welcome was friendly and the owner seems like such a genuine person. There was no pressure to make a decision quickly and the waiter answered all of our questions.
The food is truly wonderful, everyone on our table was satisfied. We really appreciated the sharing nature of the meal as everyone was interested in what the others had ordered!
We have eaten here a few times and will definitely be back.

This was our second visit and will be back, when in the area.
The decor is unique to any other restaurant we’ve been too. The welcome and service throughout was excellent by Sunny and his team.
We ordered Popadoms, Samosa Chaat, Lamb Madras, Lamb Saag, plain nan and garlic nan with 2 drinks. The food was just enough for the 2 of us. It was flavoursome, cooked perfectly and with the right level of spice.
When it comes to Asian food I can be selective/fussy, but must say I left the feeling “that was one enjoyable meal”.
If you have any feedback on this establishment I would recommend speaking to the manager, as I’m confident a solution would resourced.
If I was back in my previous job as business banking manager I would be sure to pouch this business in my portfolio and proud to look after such a caring business. High work values, quality food, great ethics and fantastic service and after sales.
The atmosphere Sunny creates with his team is a credit to Kenilworth eatery.

Tuesday night l was watching YouTube and came across a review about a Punjabi
Restaurant in Kenilworth called Hot Tava. Being very curious my wife and I decided to drive to Kenilworth and give it a try . On arrival we were transported to a Punjabi style eatery with an amazing interior of lights and flowers that has to be seen to be believed. We ordered papadum‘s with onion salad, Lamb Madras, Chicken Dhansak, boiled rice, Plain Naan and a Garlic Naan. My Lamb Madras was absolutely amazing and the Garlic Naan was the best I’ve ever had as was my wife’s Dhansak Two pints of Cobra and very friendly service made this a lovely midweek treat and to top it off when the bill came all main course’s on ( Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday ) our HALF PRICE. What a bargain, we paid the bill and booked up next week for ten people. Please support and try their fabulous food.

Stayed in a hotel opposite while travelling on business, wanted to eat somewhere good and local. This did not disappoint! A great classic and quality curry, clearly thought and care has gone into the food. The “staff curry” with bone-in lamb was amazing. And very reasonably priced too. Would come again

I recently had a meal at Hat tava Restaurant, and I just wanted to share how genuinely impressed I was. The food didn’t just taste good it felt comforting and thoughtfully made. You can tell the chefs put real care into what they serve.
The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, and the staff were kind, patient, and welcoming in a way that felt very genuine, not forced. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after from the moment you walk in.

Hot Tava Kenilworth I mean wow! The photos speak for themselves. Just look at the stunning and bright decor around the whole place! The service was brilliant all the staff were very friendly, chatty and welcoming and really looked after us. The food was delicious great quality and presented lovely. I came here purely based on the decorations, I arrived prior to opening. However, Sonny greeted me warmly and opened so I could sit indoors and take a few work calls. The location is perfectly placed opposite a Hotel. Firstly the place has been decorated to a stunning standard. It is spotless inside and out. I ordered the Korma, Keema Naan, Egg Fried Rice & poppadoms. Without a shadow of a doubt this is one of the best curries I have ever had. The portion sizes are very generous. The keema naan was amazing. The food arrived very quickly and was piping hot, flavoursome and fresh. The staff were very polite and made me feel very much at home. The price was unbelievable considering the quality and quantity. A massive thanks to Sonny and the staff at Hot Tava for an exceptional meal & a warm welcome.

Love this place. Visited for the first time in June when I attended the desi brunch, which was fantastic. Attended again yesterday to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The food and the atmosphere is amazing, but the staff are exceptional. I’ll be going back regularly. Great for couples, family and friends.
