I loved going to this place! My friend and I had never been and decided to go on a whim, best decision ever! The food was sooo good and we had two amazing waiters! Anduri and Rene were quick, attentive, and Rene even spoke Spanish to help my friend pick her food! Anduri was very helpful with the menu and even got us chips to go! The queso is AWESOME!!! We will for sure be coming back!!!

I took a leap of faith and tried something different and the chef did not disappoint. I got the Red Fish (a la plancha) and it tastes exactly how its described on the menu. The bold flavors of the garlic and wine were exceptional and the veggies were well seasoned. I can’t complain. I see why this place has a 4.9 rating. Oh, and my waiter was the sweetest. The food is great, the establishment is well managed, and the staff professional and friendly. I’m never going to another Mi Cocina’s again.

We visited Mi Cocina and unfortunately our experience started off very disappointing. After being seated, we were not acknowledged for over 12 minutes. No greeting, no water, nothing. We watched multiple servers walk past our table while other guests who were seated after us were greeted within a minute or two.
I eventually had to stop a manager to ask if we were going to be attended. He then asked a very kind server, Gladys, to take care of us.
I want to be clear — Gladys did an amazing job. She was attentive, friendly, and completely turned the experience around on her end. We truly appreciated her service.
However, the fact that we were overlooked while other tables were promptly greeted felt very unprofessional and disappointing. I’m not sure what caused the difference in treatment, but being ignored for that long should never happen.
I hope management takes this as constructive feedback to ensure every guest is acknowledged and welcomed equally from the moment they’re seated.

Eli was amazing! He took great care of us, checking in frequently. He handled our special requests and was super professional. 5 stars Eli! The restaurant is beautiful. Great outdoor patio both upstairs and down, but not wheelchair friendly for upstairs. Our food was yummy.

I’m seeing a lot of great reviews so maybe it’s just the To-Go team that needs more training. I have visited 5 different locations and this location has the worst customer service. This the one I have frequented the most often as of late because it’s close to my residence and usually it’s in the evening (I mention this because it’s always the same person seemingly). I always have to stand and wait forever to get assistance at the window. Even the servers walking by don’t acknowledge that someone is standing there, or ask if they need help. On my last visit, I waited and waited for about 10 minutes. Trying to be patient, I scrolled on my phone to kill time. When I realized no one was offering assistance, I looked though the door by the kitchen (through the little window) the woman was standing, there eating and talking with her back turned to the window. Good customer service just does not exist anymore. I value customer service because I’ve worked in the industry and know how important it is. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why she’s in the back because she’s not great with people.
