This was the best lunch stop I’ve had in Charleston yet!! Our server was so friendly and gave us a great rundown of the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and we can’t wait to come back!! The chicken sandwich and grilled oysters were our favorite. Also, don’t miss out on the potato side!

Really enjoyed the fried chicken sandwiches here. Its worth spending the $5 adder for the scalloped potatoes to replace the standard sides. They are really special. Not sure why the beer glasses are so small, but they did have a decent assortment of drafts.

Everything was impeccable – food, vibe & service. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful bartender who was friendly and helpful, attentive yet chill. The food was spectacular – expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I had the shrimp roll with the chilled shrimp salad and can’t stop thinking about it. The textures and flavors were outstanding. I can definitely see why Leon’s was packed with a wait for lunch on a Friday at 12:30. A must-experience food destination in Charleston

Coordinated with the Leon’s team ahead of a visit to Charleston – they were accommodating for our large group of 8 friends. Our patio table worked out great as it was a beautiful sunny 70 degree day. Delicious bloody Mary’s & recommend the hush puppies. Was slightly let down by the amount of fried chicken on my iceberg lettuce salad – would have gone with the friend chicken sandwich next time. Recommend for a great brunch!

I don’t usually order fried chicken out… but when in Rome. I was not disappointed! We split chargrilled oysters, fried chicken sandwich and cucumber salad. That combined with the cool breeze on the covered patio, a perfect meal!

They’ve got the atmosphere right at Leon’s. It was buzzing on a Sunday evening – inside, outside, at the bar. Best part about was that everything was chill.
Service was kind and attentive.
I had the hot (spicy) ginger ale, hush puppies, and the smoked oysters. Could’ve put down about 20 of those, but Leon’s is demure. So, keep in mind that servings are quality over quantity and the portions are civilized.
Would definitely go back!
