Decided to try this place based on Google reviews. I was in the area and wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant. There are others in the area, but this one seemed to be the most genuine one based on the reviews.
The place feels dated it looks like it hasn’t been updated in 20 years. To me, that’s what I want to see in a Mexican restaurant.
The chips and salsa were traditional. The salsa is served warm.
The fajitas were decent. I thought the beef out did the chicken. The beef was pretty good in my opinion. The tortillas were good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly.
The service felt like it was a family serving you. They took good care of us.
I’m glad we came here. I enjoy supporting local businesses. I will definitely be back if I was in the area.

Flavorful, fresh, hot food. You know the kind of flavor where not everything on the plate tastes the same. Service is great! A family making it work, taking pride in their business. I’m OK with the decor because that don’t charge me $70 for fajitas for 2 and 1 jumbo margarita. Surrounding restaurants have bumped prices up too high. I’m glad we finally tried Picosito’s after driving by for years!

Best ever. I heard the guy that owns it use to be the head chef at Papasitos. Hence, ” Picositos”. Me and my wife would rather go there than any place else. They say how to judge a Mexican restaurant is how good their salsa and margaritas are. They are Tops. Go there and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Rooster and Becky Dinhobl.

Ok we’ve been coming to Picositos for a few times now (recommended by friends). I must say the food is great, the service is spot on, and the prices cannot be beat!! I’ve compared them to a restaurant further north on 249 and much prefer their nachos and margaritas. This is right off of Harden Street Road & 249. Great location, great food & great prices!!!!

New to the area and this restaurant is right outside my new neighborhood. Food is great, everything is cooked so well, the rice and charro beans are A+. The entire staff is wonderful, especially Efrain, he’s waited on us the last 2 times we stopped in. They refill your drink without you having to ask, great customer service and friendly. We’ve sat in for dinner and pickup to go, portions are a great size too.
