This place is actually really good. The food is fresh and they give you a lot for what you pay. I got the butter chicken bowl and the spice level was perfect. It is a cool twist on the usual stuff. My stomach didn’t even yell at me later which is a huge win.
I asked for extra napkins and I think they thought I was planning to move in because they gave me the whole tree. 10/10 would eat here again.
Verdict: My belt is crying but my heart is full, I highly recommend this place. If it’s your first Indian restaurant, give it a try, it’s a must!
The service was one of the best experiences my wife and myself have had anywhere in Canada. Anand was very welcoming and took great time and effort to explain everything on the menu and made meaningful conversation with us as well as all other customers that followed.
We would wholeheartedly recommend this place for the food and the service as well.
Edit – Owner/GM of Lindsay location reached out to me genuinely trying to make up for the interaction I had. He was truly the epitome of customer service. He listened to me, he was apologetic, he explained the actions of his employee(also reassuring me they would speak with the employee in question), he assured hours would no longer be shaved, and went above and beyond to make a positive experience and changed my mind about this location. He is someone who clearly cares about his business and customers; everything he said and did came across very sincerely. The food here honestly is delicious if you’re open to trying this fusion and if the owner/GM is any indication of how the rest of his employees will act from here on out then I would seriously recommend giving this location a try and supporting him. I will definitely be a returning customer.
This is the second time the same staff has done this well before closing hours, and i have only attempted to eat here twice
Edit: the general manager went above and beyond to make this situation better, and show his dedication to customer service. I appreciate your effort and kindness listening to our cristism and we look forward to eating at your establishment again.
Food was tasty and well prepared. They have options for spice level. By default it’s mild. They do have variety of chutneys to compliment and add fire to food if you prefer it spicy. The menu and offerings are uncomplicated and they assist you in deciding by properly explaining the contents and serving size.
Staff are super friendly and energetic, and the food is unbelievably tasty.
I got the double stacked burger and fries on the side as I was hungry and in the mood for a Burger. Well holy cow, I’m not kidding this burger was fantastic, the American/Indian cross of tastes with the toppings had me hardly stopping to breathe while I ate it.
The fries were crispy and salty and I can’t remember the last time I had actually good fries in this town.
Overall I had an amazing lunch and will be back maybe for dinner.
Twisted Indian is the latest chain to bring this to market, offering a fun selection of Indian street foods full of flavor. Taking it one step further, they create hybrid offerings that incorporate traditional fair such as burgers, pizza, burritos, paninis, and turn them into Indian versions that elevate them.
In our last visit, we tried a number of items… The Naanza, Naan Wrap, The Naanwich, Masala Fries and more. All were excellent! In these options, we tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka and Beef Curry proteins, along with basmati rice and various toppings including pickled onions, cilantro, jalapeños, hot chutney, garlic lime sauce and more. All the items were hot, fresh and packed full of flavor.
If you’re looking for something new to try, that’s a fun new take on fast food, Twisted Indian is definitely worth a try. Highly recommended.
Try it out!
