Holy moly guacamole! Been awhile since we’ve eaten here. Their guac is good. Okay here we go… Obviously, we started with chips, salsa and guac. My wife had the shrimp brochette, shrimp was cooked perfect. I had the Carna Guisuda plate . It came with a beef enchilada, in my opinion it would have been better without the enchilada and more Guisuda. Star of the meal was the peach margarita, it was nice and peachy.
P.S. Back to my dinner. After some thought, keep the enchilada switch places with the rice and beans. Why u ask? With the enchilada next to the Guisuda the two different sauces get mixed together changing the flavor of both. This change in my opinion would make the plate more bueno.

This is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The food choices are plentiful and everyone in our party found something to enjoy. I tried the nachos. They were very good and the toppings were generous. It was not a traditional nacho with chips piled on the bottom, but a layer of chips with the toppings on them.

First time here. Ordered fried mushrooms as appetizer. Got small bowl of question. Small bowl was as big as most places big bowls. The steak was cooked perfectly med rare. The put mexican toppings on it, freaking delicious!! Loved everything about the place. Worth the money!!

I love Plaza! The food is amazing, and everything here tastes so good. This picture was taken after I already had a couple of bites—couldn’t resist! If you’re ever in Lubbock and craving Mexican food, Plaza is definitely the place to go.

Friendly atmosphere, greeted as you come in, quickly taken to table waited and served in a very short time. Waitress was kind and very informative and kept returning to refill our teas and to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend this place.

We love this place and frequent regularly. Tonight was a huge. There was a huge table in the bar that were very noisy. Our server Alicia was excellent. The food was as always consistent and very very good. I was particularly impressed with the restrooms. They smelled great and in the middle of a very busy Friday night shift someone was in there cleaning them. This is indicative of excellent management.

Had supper at The Plaza Restaurant & Bar – Lubbock, Texas on Milwaukee and was honestly a little disappointed. Was seated quickly and the waitress came quick enough. Got unsweetened tea and queso to start. Was glad I got the queso because it was hot and warmed up the cold chips I was served. Queso being hot was the only redeeming factor as the queso tasted liked warmed up cheese wiz.
Relleno plate (beef) with charo beans and papas. Food was very hot and overall had a good taste. Relleno fell apart so had to scoop a little beef with the pepper.
I felt rushed though. I was not halfway done with my plate before I was asked if I wanted a dessert. Since I didn’t she brought the check right away. One redeeming factor was she did ask if I wanted a to go tea.
Maybe all the good servers and food went to the Slide Road location. But this was not the Plaza I remembered.

Staff is super friendly and offer wonderful recommendations! You can see from the photos how delicious everything looks and it was!
I had the trio Mexican Stir Fry and it was wonderful! Grilled veggies with Shrimp, chicken and beef over a bed of Spanish rice and a side of guacamole. Everyone said it was a great meal! We took home 3 Togo containers since we filled up on the chips and salsa (which were so tasty)!

Very disappointing, I had this server a few times i believe she went by Cat? Dark hair, super sweet! I unfortunately requested her only to be told she had been let go, I’ve gone to this restaurant a few times in the last couple of years and had never had service like hers 🙁
