1st time and will definitely not be my last time showing up at this establishment. I arrived at 4 ordered and my food was ready by 4:30. I ordered to go as I live close to the Alamance county line. Was home by 5 and the food was still hot. They give sauces with your items as they are not needed. The meat is seasoned perfectly. I ordered chicken and beef arepas and chicken and beef empanadas with yuca and beans and rice. The cashier was very helpful explaining sauces. They did not disappoint and my belly says thank you.

We kept seeing Sofrito Latin Innovation Kitchen when headed to Harris Teeter. We finally stopped in, and we’re so happy we did. I had the Papusas, my husband had Bistek y Tostones. We were extremely happy with both!! The Papusas exploded a wonderful flavor on the first bite. My husband loved his meal equally well.

I like that the Papusas were made out of maíz. I liked the food, but I loved that we were welcomed so well upon arrival. It felt as if we walked into their home for dinner!

Go to Sofrito, eat their offerings, enjoy their hospitality. We’ll be back!

Went here for dinner on a random Wednesday night and were able to order right when we walked in but the place was steady busy the entire time we were there. It took a little bit to get our food but once we did it was delicious. We ordered the empanadas, the papusa plate, and the arepa with plantains. It was all so good! Our favorite salsas were the cilantro lime and the Peruvian. The BlackBerry Aqua was also delicious! We will definitely be back. Just bummed they are not open at all on the weekends – always want to combine them for a dinner and a movie on a Saturday!

Service and atmosphere were great! But the food was even better . My husband and I are visiting the area from Las Vegas, and we found this gem on the map. I tried the beef and tostones that reminded me of Miami ( a fusion of cultures and flavors). My husband got the bandeja paisa (huge), and we did not realize this after the facts. It was amazing! We also got three empanadas (cheese, beef, and chicken), all delicious. We are planning to come back again tomorrow. We recommend it 100%.

I’d come again for a light bite if I’m in the area. At the house at the front was informative and able to recommend something new for my friends to try (arepas). I got shredded chicken tacos. They were pretty simple. You can’t go wrong with simple plus a tasty sauce. I ordered fried plantains as well. They looked a little overcooked but they tasted amazing. I also want to try something new: I ordered their passionfruit agua fresca. It was light and refreshing – not too sweet.

I’m open up coming back and trying something new again. I wasn’t wowed but the food was fine. I knocked of a star because of flies :/

Growing up in a Cuban household it’s been difficult finding good spots here in NC that serves something other than your typical Mexican fare.

Sofrito is exactly what I’ve been looking for. 10/10 Ropa Vieja with a super delicious creamy cilantro sauce. Tostones and yucca were on point too.

I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

Very good food! Passed here on way to brothers one weekend. The food takes a little to make but worth it. The tres leches cake is to die for!

I don’t post many reviews on Google. But this place needs to be experienced and is the bomb!! I lived in South Florida for 27 years and have been missing authentic Colombian Bandeja Paisa since moving to the Triad. Not anymore!!! It’s literally as good as Rinconcito Del Alex El Paisa and Los Arrieos both in Kendall Fl. It was well worth the 25 minute drive from Pleasant Garden to pick it up!! I will definitely be back, hoping to drag others in so they can experience the great Latin food found in many South Florida areas.
