I stopped at this small Cuban roadside restaurant on my way to Miami, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. It’s a simple place with outdoor tables, relaxed atmosphere, and pleasant Latin music playing — exactly what you hope to find on a road trip.
The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even though soup wasn’t on the menu, they had some freshly made and kindly offered it to me free of charge, without even knowing how much I was craving it. It was excellent — warm, flavorful, and clearly homemade.
For the main course, I had a typical Cuban specialty — ribs with tamales — and it was outstanding. The food is simple but extremely tasty and fresh. I also had a fresh pineapple juice, which was perfect and refreshing.
Overall, the food deserves a 5/5. Authentic, fresh, and made with care. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re traveling between Miami and the Everglades.

Great food, service and atmosphere! Small family owned restaurant with outdoor seating. The owner and family went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The menu was explained as we do not speak Spanish and great suggestions were given.

What a cute place!!! The food was sooooo good! The drinks were very fresh and original. I could not believe that we spent an amazing afternoon with live music, sitting outside, great food and drinks for $60 dollars (3 people).

We stopped here after looking and saw it had 5 stars, and I can understand why after eating there. We were immediately greeted by the owner, and he continued great service until we left. The food was so tasty and flavorful!! The tamale was the best!

We are grateful to have found this place! We have enjoyed every second! We felt so welcomed when we stepped in, the service was so warm, and very nice people! I can’t tell how surprised we were with the prices with the Quality of the food!!! We went on a Sunday and we ordered the Shrimp rice special; Delicious! Ribs, tamales are amazing and omg the Picanha! So much flavor, and freshness. This food is made with love! A peaceful ambiance so beautiful!

We passed by this small cute eatery and are so glad that we stopped. There are many free range chickens but the ribs are much better Marinated well. So classic. I also had the best Tamale that I’ve ever had. And we spent $22 for 2 people. Such a good value for money. Highly recommended ❤️

I came here after horseback riding at Margarita Clube Equestre with a few friends.
We ordered their picanha and chicken and everything was amazing! The service was excellent and the staff were welcoming. $15 for a picanha!!
I will definitely make the drive back out here just to enjoy the 5 star service, laid-back atmosphere, and a familial experience! They gave us complimentary desert- make sure to try their flan and their homemade juices!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE, FOOD AND HUMBLE people! Soon as I walked in they received me and my family with a loving smile and made sure we felt at home. Dining here felt like I was at a family get together eating with my loved ones. Everything is made fresh at the moment and delicious! They even gave us complimentary churros, star fruit and pork skin. Again, it felt like a family get together where we are all together having lunch. We had a long conversation with the owner and his adorable son that is so young and beyond his years which also helps the family business at only 11yrs old. I highly recommend this place if you want good food, music, and to feel like you’re in Cuba eating with family next to a farm. Thank you for a beautiful experience we will be coming back!
