The staff welcomes every guest with warmth and lovely smiles. Great ambience, blending South India with subtle modernity. Authentic food, wide menu, great tasting finger licking food, that isn’t very pricey either.
Their kufies are a must have.
A special thank you to Sharron, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our meal. Her genuine hospitality made our lunch feel extra special.
Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service!
The staff are incredibly friendly and accomodating when we wanted to swap out the dessert in the thali for another dessert.
I would definitely come back here to try the same dishes and explore the other ones! Well done to the chefs and the team here for keeping the authenticity. I will be bragging about this spot to my friends and family and work!
The food was nothing short of exceptional. We ordered both a vegetarian and a non-vegetarian platter, and every bite had us saying, “Wow, this is amazing!” The flavors were rich, the presentation was beautiful, and the quality of ingredients truly stood out. The prawns were a definite highlight—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. And to end on a sweet note, the pan kulfi was absolutely divine.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Their warm hospitality added to the overall charm of the place.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
Our starters were a feast for the senses—Kurkuri Bhindi that was crispy and flavorful, Malai Soya Chap that was rich and creamy, and tantalizing Vegetable Momos served with a zesty Shezwan sauce. We also indulged in the classic Mysore Masala Dosa and opted for some Fried Mini Idli and Thatte Idli, both of which were simply irresistible! To wash it all down, we enjoyed refreshing Filter Coffee and Fresh Lime Soda.
During my recent visit, we ordered a Thali. They had North Indian Meat, North Indian Chicken and South Indian Vegetarian options. All the dishes were visually appealing, served in large portions and tasted amazing.
Overall, Bangalore Express impresses with its array of Traditional South Indian dishes that not only taste fantastic but also bring a sense of comfort and nostalgia. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking a lively atmosphere and delicious food!
However, our dosa came with some generic chicken dish in it and I think there was some sweet saunce inside it which was odd.
The Biryani sadly had no salt in it and while the raita was good, the gravy was not. Quantity was good though.
We ordered 2 coke zeros, and what we were served was clearly not it, and we were not told about the substitution.
The place is quite nice and well decorated, and the service is good and the staff quite friendly.
But I think for the money, 56 pounds for just 2 dishes of mediocre quality, I think this place is over rated and overpriced. I believe its possible that this place might have been good earlier but maybe its quality has declined over time.
