I had my first meal in Indianapolis at Plump’s Last Shot, and I think it was a good choice. The bar is a cozy place, and it’s very welcoming inside. It was a fairly quiet place when I went there, seeing as it was a slightly late lunchtime. The staff was friendly, and I was able to order quickly. Prices seemed very reasonable, and I settled on the tenderloin sandwich I had heard about online. I think this was my favorite tenderloin sandwich from my trip, and it just had a great balance of flavors and textures. It was big, but not what I’d consider ridiculous. It made for one of my favorite meals in Indianapolis, and I’d definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

The food is excellent, the bartenders are incredibly attentive, and the vibe is always good. There is absolutely nothing pretentious about this place or the staff and have met many people there that I now consider friends. It is a perfect place to grab a drink after work, watch the big game without the crush of people at the popular sports bar, or grab brunch and a Bloody Mary. 10/10 would not change a thing!

Visiting Indianapolis from out of state and was recommended this place. Thought the food is good the atmosphere and environment is not. A lot of the people inside were polite but the staff definitely needs to work on their hospitality manners. Demanding tips stating they don’t get paid hourly which is ridiculous. I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time I was there. I will definitely recommend it for some people but not everyone.

Cozy neighborhood dive, I love a bar in an old house. Drinks were cheap and service was good. The BBQ pork sandwich came out super hot and wasn’t anything to write home about, but that might be my mistake for not ordering the tenderloin lol.

Phenomenal breaded pork tenderloin. Side of onion rings and fries were delicious as well. Fish and chips were solid. The bartender workers were very friendly and attentive. Very neat vibe inside, they do have a TV for sports at the bar, a touch tunes jukebox, and tons of memorabilia/articles on the wall. Plenty of free parking in the area.

Quaint little bar tucked in a nice neighborhood. We came on a Monday afternoon and there were a few patrons. The bartender was very friendly. We came for the Hoosier tenderloin after reading about it online. Holy cow was it big. You can absolutely get two meals out of this. I thought it was delicious. If you’re coming into town and have the chance to check this place out I would recommend it.

The tenderloin is ducking amazing!!! It is the quality of meat. It is just thick enough to be juicy but thin enough to be for a sandwich. Edward drive in you have been beaten by a real victor. Onion rings were yummy. In the 1 hr we were here 4 couples came with dogs. Very pet friendly. We ate inside. Drinks are kick butt too.

This is a very cool unique bar that I enjoy visiting when I make my way down to “the village”. Prefer sitting outside on the patio, people watching and drinking. The jukebox/touch tunes sound great outside. Bartenders provide great service and are friendly. Didn’t have an opportunity to try the food yet but it’s on the bucket list! 5 ✨’s thus far!

While the venue is historic in a few ways, it is the deep fried pork tenderloin that requires you to eat here. Look at the size of that beauty! But the size is not the best part — it’s the flavor! Seasoned and breaded to perfection, you’ll want to eat the entire thing. I did less than a quarter of the sandwich, and was still full when I finished. And if you are lucky, you might bump into legend and owner Bobby Plump himself.
