We came because of the other reviews and were not disappointed. The restaurant was only serving a brunch on Sunday at 3pm. We didn’t mind as there were still good options for meat lovers. No steaks though. I would come back for dinner during the week for the full experience.

This restaurant had been on our radar for three years, and we finally made it here for a birthday meal—it was absolutely worth the wait! We loved all our food and were very satisfied with the portions. The half-rib meal, in particular, was perfectly filling and definitely enough on its own, so we shouldn’t have ordered a gumbo side dish. If you go, be mindful that the main portions are generous! Highly recommend for a special occasion.

I had a caesar salad, meatloaf with gouda grits and banana pudding for desert. The caesar salad and meatloaf were good. The grits were delicious and the best thing I had. We ordered the banana pudding after a recommendation from our waitress Lilly. Without asking they brought 5 extra small plates and spoons saying we could share the banana pudding. We all thought it must be big. But, it came in a small desert glass barely enough for one person. We weren’t planning on sharing but we all stared at each other in disbelief that a $16 banana pudding would be so small especially after the nice portions with the rest of the meal. It did taste good but not like a southern cooked banana pudding. It had a good whipped cream and two candied pecans that were really good. My husband had oysters. He ordered a dozen but they brought 6. He said they a good flavor but small. My friend had the 8oz filet. He said it had a good flavor but it was well done and he ordered medium. There was no pink center anywhere in the steak. He didn’t want to wait on another one so he just ate it. My grandson had ribs and liked them.
The atmosphere was nice. It was full. The waiter and waitress were very nice and gave us recommendations. They were Brandon and Lilly.

Came here specifically for the $1 oyster happy hour (3-6). Service was absolutely amazing & the oysters were phenomenal. Thank you so much to the hilarious oyster shucking Sheryl!!! She made my day with her jokes lol. Even gave me some shucking tips to try at home ❤️. Will be back with friends for sure!! (gumbo was also very good)

This was an amazing meal. Came here with some coworkers and we shared several appetizers. The oysters were amazing. This shrimp appetizer is so delicious. I ate so many brussel sprouts that I was almost too full to eat my entree. The free biscuits were a great surprise and the drinks were strong and tasty. Even though we had a large group, the food came out very fast and everything came out, correct.

The food I ordered was great 10 out of 10 recommend everything was seasoned perfectly. I also had grilled oysters. They were amazing The drink I had was the strongest drink I had which was a old-fashioned. I definitely recommend this place is downtown and the atmosphere was great.

Not impressed. The woman( not our server ) delivery our food which had items that were medium and medium rare and never said which just set them down.
Ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked though and our servicer told us that’s how they do it. Well, that’s not an eggs Benedict then.
We ordered oysters and they never came. We never addressed it to see if it’d be on the check which it wasn’t. However we saw the manager and server look at our table several times and pretty sure they deleted them off the check when the server finally realized them never came. It was never addressed or acknowledged. What a joke.
NOT WORTH the money. Fresh fish sandwich was bland and dry..clearly not fresh.
SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS IN NASHVILLE!

– Salad: not super fresh, mediocre at best.
– Added blackened “catch of the day”: Either from frozen fish, or they completely overcooked it.

The fish was “black” alright, but not tender at all; it was super dry and tasted more like burnt than blackened seasoning.

– The price: 38.42 dollars, with tips I rounded up to $42. Because this is a “higher-end” place, the salad costs $ 16, and the “blackened” fish is $19, but at this quality?

– The service: The waiter was ok. But I went to the restroom took my handbag but left my towel on my seat intentionally, when I got back, they cleaned everything, I couldn’t even identify my table!

Not sure how a place like this survives when you have so many choices in Nashville.

Oh and, 30 mins after I left the place, stomachaches, had to find an emergency restroom. Not fun. This was my only meal besides some black coffee the whole day.

Had such a great time here with some coworkers! We went all in on the appetizers, and honestly, every bite was a win. The oysters were spot on, and that shrimp appetizer… wow, it’s ridiculously good. I definitely overdid it on the brussel sprouts, but no regrets—they were that tasty. Plus, those free biscuits? Total bonus points. Drinks were strong and delicious, which makes everything feel even more festive. What I loved most was that even with a big group, everything came out fast and correctly—no scrambling, no mistakes. The vibe is relaxed, lively, and perfect for a casual night out. Seriously, this is one of those Nashville gems you want to keep coming back to again and again.

Very busy on a Thursday. Attentive wait staff. Excellent small plate / appetizers. Daily menu selections are as varied as the regular menu. Good choice of mocktails and bar specials. Large dining area with a small plus a medium sized private dining areas. Some sides are large enough for two.
