Really cool atmosphere; they really did go all out on Christmas decorations. So much so that you really can’t take it all while eating due to the layout. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. The dinner was good, desert was fantastic.

Went here for Mothers Day. Fun colorful decorations! They had a big tree with Kentucky Derby hats. Loved it! The staff was very friendly too. They had both breakfast and dinner being served on Sunday. The hot bread was BOMB!! For entree I went with the Shrimp Santorini. Kind of an odd dish. I thought the shrimp, feta, and mushrooms would be served on top of the pasta, but the pasta was actually served on the side with marinara sauce. My sister got an Egg Bagel with Homefries while my mom got Moussaka. Both enjoyed theirs. Very hearty. We also ordered a round of prosecco. Pretty, but a bit too cheap tasting. Will be back to try their appetizers & desserts!

Really good marinara sauce and rolls. Good service with attentive wait staff. Meatballs in the sub were bland. Veal parmigiana wasn’t terrible just a little chewy. This place seems to attract an older crowd. I may revisit to try a different menu item.

Fresh delicious food served with a smile and courtesy. Decorated beautifully for Valentine’s Day. A family-owned place that is a throwback in the best way.

A nice, humble, and genuine Greek restaurant that I really enjoyed. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and interesting, unique yet awesome decor. The food is delicious and mouth-watering! I heard that this place has been open for 40 years now, by the same, original owners. The employees are really sweet and polite too. I went here with my mother and my family for Mother’s Day and it was a great experience! We’re really happy that we decided to stop here and eat lunch! It’s definitely a family-friendly restaurant, and it’s very cute and cozy! Overall, a really nice place to eat with family. 5 out of 5 stars~!

We went here for dinner when a nearby restaurant had a 30 minute wait on a Thursday. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I used to come here regularly 15+ years ago with my dance group. The rolls are still the best in RVA. I had moussaka and my Dad had manicotti with the meat sauce. Both were very good. What I especially liked about the moussaka was it wasn’t oversalted.
We’ll be back, sooner this time.

We went to Nick’s for lunch with Santa Claus. The decorations were fantastic and Santa was amazing with the kids. The food was fresh and homemade. I highly recommend the linguini with clams. Awesome!

This place has an extremely festive atmosphere and genuinely caring and attentive staff. This local favorite has been around for a number of decades and is always aiming to please. If you enjoy the holidays, you got to come here because they really do it up for each holiday. Large portions of soul warming food in a relaxed environment.

What a gem to find! My mom and I came from Fredericksburg for her to go to an appointment in Richmond. I found this restaurant after searching for somewhere to go for lunch.
The decor is just thrilling! We sat at a cozy table and ordered the Greek Agora appetizer. Everything from the hummus to the Spanikopita was just so delicious! I ordered the Manicotti with meat sauce and my mom got the Pastichio. Both were so flavorful and just what we wanted. Nick’s famous rolls were out of this world amazing! We actually ordered some to go with our leftover meal. The waitress was so friendly and we had great conversations.
We will definitely make the trip down just to come back here.

Poor Nick’s. The place of my childhood hasn’t really aged well. Went for dinner and the atmosphere was lacking. With no music, it felt a little bit like a library. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was kinda sad: chewy shrimp, canned mushrooms, and overcooked noodles.

My parents like Nick’s, and honestly it was probably really great back when Richmond didn’t have many other options. In 2020, you can do much better.
